Bought these to wear while snowboarding, they are very comfortable to wear under my snowboarding bottoms, they provide great protection (I didn't fall while snowboarding but I tested them by 'falling' in the changing rooms before heading out to the slopes!) I'm hoping I never put them through a real test!My only negative is that they are really big! I could easily have bought a smaller size.

Great fit & goes up above the hips, would definitely protect in the event of fall off motorcycle, skate board, skiing etc. very good price, arrived before time & well wrapped up.

I purchased this to use as a beginner snowboarder. I'd say good enough quality for the price. I went without it on one occasion and could tell the difference, and wouldn't go without it again! However, this is the cheaper option available and can see that more expensive options may provide more padding.

These were fantastic for my recent snowboard trip. Really easy to get on over my regular underwear and offered decent protection at a fair price. They didn't make me too hot either as they have good ventilation at the front, however they did make me a little sweatier around my butt due to the extra padding in the coccyx area. It's a trade off to be honest and I'd prefer the extra protection any day of the week. Coverage of the padding is good, one thing to note here is a little extra padding just below the waistband and above the hip pads that may not be immediately obvious from the picture. The velcro closure at the front was super easy to operate, especially easy when I needed a toilet break.Overall a great product for the price. I imagine a more expensive product would offer better cushioning on the protective pads but without having bought one I have nothing to compare these to.If it helps anyone else, I'm a 32" waist and went for an XL (I'd usually go for Large so size up to get the best fit).

The idea is great and stretchy, comfortable design BUT agree with other reviewers that if you fall on ice you WILL protect your tail bone and sides of thighs but not the actual hips which are not protected at all- it seems fairly simple to amend the design to protect the hip area too. The hip joint is the part which takes the biggest impact when falling.

They are amazing. I used them for snowboarding and I was very happy how useful they are.

Great padding, a must for snowboarding

I’m a size 12 and ordered the Large, the fit is pretty good. There’s also plenty of stretch and the fasteners are Velcro so there’s wiggle room. Item also seems to be quite good quality! Not worn them to the skate park yet but excited to try them out!

Lo compre para salvar mi culo mientras aprendo snow ((ya sufri una mala caida y me hice mucho daño....) sin duda este protector va genial, he tenido un par de caídas que no han dolido nada, es algo gordito, pero blando, por lo que amortigua sin hacerte daño, no como esos que son mucho más finos y duros, puede que proteja el hueso, pero el golpe lo sientes... Con este modelo realmente caes sobre blandito. Lo recomiendo! Y calidad también muy bien

L'ho acquistato per fare snowboard. Ero un po' dubbioso su questo prodotto ma fa il suo dovere. Ovviamente non aspettatevi che vi ammortizza le cadute al 100%, ma per le volte in cui sono caduto o semplicemente mi appoggiavo a terra per allacciare la tavola dello snwoboard, non sentivo alcun dolore. Molto utile specialmente nelle zone dove c'è ghiaccio invece che neve morbida, e ti un po' più sicurezza nel tenatre cose nuove pur sapendo di poter cadere.
