Love it!
Tee-hee! We have so much fun playing this game. Got it after watching a table full of people play it at our church’s game night and wanted to try it for myself. It’s very easy to master and once you know how to play it’s pretty fun. We are learning which way is best for our family as far as figuring out who “wins” the game, but it’s a great family game. Even better for larger crowds. It’s fast paced, but even my 6 year old can swing it with the best of us!!

Definitely the Best Value out of the Three Pit Games by Hasbro
The media could not be loaded. Winning Moves Games has released 3 types of licenses for this game through Hasbro. The Basic Game, The Orange Game (this one) and the Pit Deluxe. The Basic Game is the one without the bell, the bell being replaced by a big Pit Corner! card. The cards are stiff and seem poor-to-decent quality. See pictures. The Orange Game comes with a built in case bell, very convenient and easy to store and transport the game and instructions. The cards are more flexible and seem of better quality. They are more cartoon like but colored. The Deluxe version is the most expensive and includes the classic bell. The bell is a bit louder than the Orange Bell. I'm not sure that the cards are better quality but for sure are a bit more flexible than the Orange Game and definitely better quality than The Basic Game. I didn't like the lack of colors for the commodities, but the argument is that it makes the game a bit more challenging because you have to pay attention to the kind you are trading. The game itself is very fun especially when played by 6 or more. There are a few variations / style of playing.

Classroom favorite!
I've bought 6 copies of this game because it's affordable and just SO. MUCH. FUN.I teach my class to play it (middle school) and they are hooked. (Be prepared for lots of visitors if you do this; it sounds like absolute chaos is erupting in the classroom and many will stop in to check in you.)It's also great for game nights and family gatherings.I appreciate that it's...1) easy to learn2) quick-paced, no down time3) a little educational4) somewhat strategic but not overly strategicI've never taught this to someone who didn't enjoy it.

Fun with friends
A fun fast paced game to play with friends. I recommend no less then three people play at once. The more players the more fun.

Surprise Hit!
I bought this for my parents 'just to open' for Christmas because they had this game in the 80's and played it a lot with friends. Since they had 'bigger' gifts to open, this one was meant just for fun. They opened PIT! at our annual Christmas party and towards the end of the night we all decided to play. We had kids from 8 years old up to people who are nearly 70 and this game was a hit! We had so much fun playing and it is very easy to learn. Each player (there were 6 of us) is dealt nine cards. The dealer then hits the button to sound the bell, and then players each try to make all nine of their cards match by trading cards with other players. If you have two Gold cards that you want to trade, you yell out: 'Two, two!' and someone else who wants to get ride of two cards will swap with you. This keeps going until one person ends up with nine-of-a-kind. There was a point when three of us all needed just one card to complete our hand and we kept shouting: 'One, one!' and trading the same card back and forth which was really funny.

It's a fun game!
I like the game, but the bell is too soft when it rings so I Purchased a separate bell.

Perfect gift for different age range
Such a fun game to play with my 5 year old and 10 year old. Can play the easy version with the younger kids and advanced version with older age kids. If I need to buy a birthday gift I will definitely buy this toy as a gift. This will be the most used gift they got this Christmas! Great toy to take via when traveling. Highly recommend!
