These are a godsend. We live in South Lake Tahoe and I have Reynauds. While I love spending time outside I suffer in the winter. While they do keep my feet warm for a few hours on medium here is what I would do to improve themMake a design that stays up, they consistently fall to my ankles.Make them machine washable, they are not easy to handwash and take 3 days to dry if you have washed them carefully and do not wring them.Make the button on the battery on the top or bottom, because it's on the side it gets pushed in your boot and it's irritating.The battery is large and clunky, it really hurts my leg if I wear them for longer than two days.

The sock material is great. The heating element is not. I ran them on the highest setting and expected them to be warmer. My toes still ended up cold.

These are a meh from me. I’m not blown away, nor am I disappointed. They don’t feel like they warm my feet as much as I anticipated. I was also thinking they would have a larger warming area. They do seem to do the job, though. So no real complaints.I haven’t had an issue charging batteries. For those complaining or wondering why their LEDs don’t turn green, the LEDs on the batteries don’t change. The one on the actual wall plug is the one that changes (see picture). This wasn’t in the instructions, though. I just happen to notice it when I realized the ones on the batteries weren’t going to change after charging overnight.

this is an update on my review. Emily at Rabbitroom is terrific. I explained that I couldn't feel any heat from the socks. she promptly sent me another pair and they work. the heat is on the top of your foot and definitely keeps your feet warm. I'm assuming the first pair was defective and it was remedied quickly.I have tried these socks 4 times snow blowing the driveway. I cannot feel any heat and I am very disappointed. Was really looking forward to warm feet when I'm out in the snow. I recharged a number of times thinking that was the issue but no. never did work and I am returning them.

We ended up not using them/ Not easy.

These socks are good for warming the tops of your feet near your toes. Because the elements are on top, they will probably last longer than if they were on the bottom. However, I wished they did warm the bottoms of my feet. They are comfortable to wear and are high enough that the battery pocket will not interfere with boots. I like that the batteries are rechargable so that I don't have the waste of disposable batteries. I had some issues with my order but Rabbitroom has EXCEPTIONAL customer service. They want you to be happy with their products.

I have owned these sock for a YEAR now going into my second winter. I thought I was just me or how cold it was outside i was wrong. Socks have been charged on many occasions and never had any noticeable temperature change form my legs or feet. The only positive they are thick. They never warmed my feet or legs when working or just sitting home in my recliner. A complete waste of money.

I wear a size 13 and these fit just great, they warm up in minutes! I bought these for hunting but I haven’t wore them out yet. But wearing them in the house they were great. If you’re going to hunt with them I think you’ll want a pair of socks over them and that will help keep your feet warmUpdate: been wearing these for two years now while hunting. I always use the medium setting and get a good 4-5 hours use of them. Feet don’t stay hot or too cold. I always wear wool socks over these to keep my feet extra warm, especially if the battery goes out while I’m still hunting. These would be better if you could have 4 batteries instead of two, but I do like these and they have held up well!
