I wasn't sure how I'd like this alarm, but am ever so pleased with my purchase, it has several natural sounds, FM radio, and the coveted annoying sound for waking you up. I didn't need it 1st time because the sunrise feature woke me up half way through its "rising". I think this would be good for putting kids to bed also, since it also has a sunset feature. I got this on deal, but would pay the $30.

It's a great wake up lamp that is gentle for folks who have a hard time waking up. The FM radio part is ok, not super clear and sometimes you do have to fiddle with the antenna. The really great part is the nature sounds - the first morning the birds chirping sound was so realistic, I actually thought they were coming from the backyard. The challenge with a clock like this is that it's got so many functions, that I need to keep referencing the instructions and it will be a few weeks before I can memorize what each of the buttons do.
