Great Dog Toy
My dogs destroyed it in minutes… but it was the best five minutes to watch them attack it and fling it around like the primal beasts they are.

It’s beautiful until it self tears apart
My son was playing with it and as he lifted it to place it somewhere else, it dismembered itself. Had to put it back together.

It has reverse.
This is a cool little remote control toy and it can get itself out of tough situations with the reverse function. It’s pretty typical of all the remote insects you can buy, thus the 4 stars. Not as cool as it’s gecko cousin that can walk on walls and ceilings.

Worked for 30 minutes before breaking
This was my kiddos number one request for Christmas. It worked great for 30 minutes before it stopped working. The remote light blinks but the centipede won’t move. We tried everything per the instructions and changed batteries but it still won’t work. Sadly we can’t return because the packaging was torn to pieces amidst Christmas excitement.

Well made, easy to use remote controlled centipede, a great gift for little boys.
I ordered this remote controlled centipede, a phrase I've never used before, as a Christmas gift for a sweet little boy in my life, so it goes into the Christmas 2024 box. I did, however, take it out of the box and see how it works and how much fun it was, and I thought it was very cool but my dog thought it needed killing. It's back in its box now waiting for Christmas. This is easy to operate - after all, I did it, and I don't play computer games or anything like that - since the remote is clearly labeled and it's easy to use. This centipede comes with a simple instruction sheet and batteries (5xAAA) included. I love that feature, because I don't often see five batteries included with anything, especially at this price point. I took them out and put them back in a little plastic sack when our experiment was over.Mr. Centipede actually does do a great deal of moving around, and I think he sped up a little when he saw a very large dog in a curious mood headed toward him. The toy works just as it should, and I think any young child, up to six years old as stated in the listing, would enjoy this. You can also get this as a serpent (not in my house!) or as a blue spider.Mr. Centipede has a realistic design with fine insect details and 18 body segments with wriggly legs. He wriggles quite a lot, and that's what caught my dog's attention. I'm afraid things would've ended badly for Mr. Centipede if I hadn't been there.I would definitely recommend this remote controlled centipede for any child six years old or younger, and I'd say a child would start to enjoy this at the age of two to three, depending on whether he's into centipedes or spiders or if he's into dinosaurs. I see this more as a toy for little boys than little girls, but I could be prejudiced since I have two boys and no girls. This is a very cool toy, comes with five batteries, easy to use remote control, and he makes quite a splash. My dog is still pouting about not being able to get to know Mr. Centipede better, but I think that's all to the good. Excellent toy.
