So much fun!
Got this tetherball set for the yard and it’s awesome! Super sturdy with a strong base and pole and I love that the height adjusts so everyone can play. Easy to set up, and it’s held up great so far. I admit I do bring the rope and ball inside bc this FL weather destroys everything! But we’ve been having a blast. It's perfect for family fun, outdoor parties, or just goofing around. Definitely worth it!

Total junk.
Zero stars. Do not buy. This is a neat idea to have a portable game but less then 5 minutes of playing and the pole was swaying back and forth. The stakes are solid but the force of the ball is too much for the skinny pole. I stopped playing and left it to my kids who were promptly complaining that the pole was coming loose. By its nature if the person going counter clockwise is winning then the threads on the pole start to loosen. Perhaps a set screw might help! After. Continual tightening we gave up playing for the moment unable to finish a game. They started playing with it today and now the lower threads on the pole stripped out making it really wobble and permanently crooked. Basically it was a waste of money, skip this one for sure!!

It’s ok
It has potential but like many others say it either unscrews or the bottom thread piece bends due to weight. got this for my dog she loved it but within a few minutes she pulled on the ball and the bottom thread broke. I rigged it up with a metal stake (a piece of rebar would work too). I placed it into the base and then slid the pole ontop of it. It woobles a little but really not much at all and this is for my dog to play with not for professional use. Just an idea for people who are passed the return date and want a quick fix to keep the thing going.

good but not
Love Tetherball, played in school, now an adult I still have love the game and was very happy to find this. I like the stakes they looked like they would definitely work and with three prongs instead of 2 yes please. The ball was not as durable as the ones from school, which was shown when my wife and my pup were playing around, pup was happily playing along but then she got ahold of the ball with her teeth and it popped the ball. The reason my pup was able to take a nip at the ball, was due to to the pole coming up from the ground, it didn't stay in the ground even with the 3 prongs. Had to replace the ball so we will see how it will work in the spring.

item is sturdy pole and stake system, Rope and ball are good
item is sturdy pole and stake system, I drove it into the ground where we wanted it (I have mostly just sand here) so that was fairly easy, I thought about possibly putting it in a piece of concrete but that woud make it less nice to move later. Rope and ball are good and should be easy to replace if we ever need to.

Do not buy. Would rate a zero if rating scale would allow it!
Very disappointed in this purchase. Bought for kids, all under 13. Upon first set up, problems kept mounting. Pole sections unscrew during play. Upon retightening, one of the sections stripped out and is no longer usable so the entire pole is shorter now. Also, the spikes to drive into the ground are not sufficient to hold the pole while in use and wobbles loose during the first few seconds of play. I would not buy again.

Love
Works great for my littles as i can move it easily to mow but its pretty solid in the ground so they can play with it

Didn’t make it through the Fourth of July
I love that it was very sturdy made out of steel, but the top part that holds the ball and screws in actually bent by the force of the ball being hit back-and-forth so it actually stripped it so being very sturdy made out of steel I was very disappointed didn’t even make it through a season
