Perfect HOB Fuge
Very Easy to hook up. I read the other reviews and knew not to press to hard when putting on the tank. The motor took about 3-5 minutes to prime. I added some rubble rock, Chaeto and, a small strip light. my nitrates dropped down to an acceptable level. after being very high.

Ehhh
The first one arrived with the overflow snapped off. It was clearly dropped before shipping. I then received a replacement and this one was perfect. Once I installed it on my aquarium and filled it with salt water the pump was not working correctly and no matter what I did I could not get it to prime and start flowing. After about an hour of working on it I emptied the water, rinsed it off and packed it up so I could send it back. I returned it through UPS

Worth... The... Money!
The media could not be loaded. This thing is totally worth the money, and very very quiet, I cant hear it over my fluval 407 on the other side of this 75 gallon tank. Be warned! The corner where the motor intake rests is vulnerable to break, BUT NOT IN THE WAY YOU THINK! The corner of mine unfortunately broke off but I glued it right back on! Do not force the mounts in any way, I made the error of making sure it was resting on the rim securely by adding some pressure downward and it broke, just nestle it into place. I have a rimmed tank, don't bother cutting the plastic rim to try to get it to rest flush, you run the risk of what I tried to do, the screws will actually clamp onto the rim and the pump is more than powerful enough to pull water even an additional half inch up, so no cutting is required. Really clean look and easy to customize as far as lights, it's built with two support braces to keep the center from bowing out and seconds as a light rest for any light bars you might get, what I have is temporary until I get one myself! Fits really flush against the tank despite the rim so I'm impressed there! I have gar so still water is needed, the sponge/flow breaker for the outlet is really nice, keeps the top water nice and still, or just remove the sponge if you want it to stir up the surface! Really awesome design in all honesty, they thought of everything you might want out of this thing, just don't force the mounts! Will be getting another for my 55 as well, very satisfied and worth the money!

Refugium for an AIO tank
I like it. Although I wish the pump was adjustable for flow rate.

Nice
The media could not be loaded. It slips on the back of a tank easily. It was packaged well. I’m going to try growing chato using the main light of the tank as seen in my video. It grew fast in the tank. Words of warning are give it several minutes to prime because you might think you have a bad pump, and fill it with saltwater because it holds a lot of water and if you fill it with freshwater you could lower the salinity too much, too fast.

So quiet, I had to look closer
Very quiet, so much so that I used a flashlight to look closer and the water was gently flowing back into the tank. The piece holding the sponge was broken during shipment, but the edges matched back up, so I used holdfast like on my rock, and it's fine. I'm happy and fixed it instead of returning and still started my tank on time.
