Nice
I love the cooking techniques the author used in this cookbook. With gallbladder issues, you should use gentle cooking techniques, and the author really followed these methods.

Not good at all for gallstones or no gallbladder
This book advertises it's for no gallbladder. The problem is that when you have no gallbladder or if you do but have gallstones, then you're supposed to have LOW/NO fat. Nearly every recipe had a good amount of fat, and some that were just full of it. Products you shouldn't eat were in regular recipes, examples include, Avocado, Peanut Butter, Granola, Coconut, Almondmilk, Nuts, Seeds. These are fat heavy and not recommended by doctors if you have gallbladder problems or have no gallbladder.

Great Variety
I'm very glad books like this exist. I have friends who've had to make major adjustments to their diets from not having a gallbladder. Books like this allow me to cook foods that work with their diets. I haven't yet dug into these particular recipes, but there seems to be a fairly wide variety and I'm excited to dig into them.

Good info on how to eat without a gallbladder
I never considered that I needed to be on a special diet after having my gallbladder removed. This cookbook caught my eye and it was very informative. The beginning has a lot of information about what the gallbladder is for and how the body functions without it and how eating a certain way can help you have optimal health. Lots of great recipes with serving size and nutritional information. Highly recommend!

more than just a recipe book
I like that it doesn't just tell you to eat certain foods, it explains what the gallbladder does, different problems it can have and then explains why you should eat in certain ways at different periods before, right after and after gallbladder removal.Lots of tasty and nutritious looking recipes !

Book
Got this as having gallbladder removed soon. Not all recipes are suitable at present as I still have a faulty gallbladder and a lot of foods make me sick. Hopefully book will work after surgery. Be aware that the book is mainly Americanised with no pictures. Not very well presented and recipes could easily be downloaded with better quality.
