Columba 26 inch Folding Bike Bag

Where to begin. I bought some, now I have found, oddly sized folding bikes for a northern California and Canada train trip. By the dimensions listed my very slightly abnormal folding bike sized bikes (Adventure...) would fit perfectly however, after receiving both bags and testing one, I found these bags to be very large. I was in a time crunched so I contacted the selling regarding an exchange (see seller feedback) but was unable to complete that request so ended up using the bags even though the bikes were sloshing in these bags. These bikes/bags went on a few train trips as carry on and or checked bags.. They worked fine at first but after 1 or 2 train /travel changes holes started to open up in the bottom of the bags. Long story shot by the end of a 10 day trip there were holes all over the bottom of the bags.The straps worked out well in contrast to many of the reviews, it was the main fabric that ended up to be to problem with (in my opinion) very limited use.

Found the 2011 Dahon Expresso Brilliant for a steal but had to store it in my living room next to my drapes in a 750 square foot condo! Having a small dog that tosses his bones around, I did not want him getting used to going near the bike and it looked terrible. I seared and found the manufacturer’s bag for almost 4x’s the price. Although that was padded and suited for overseas travel, it was overkill.When it arrived only a few days after purchasing I was impressed but the quality immediately. I do not mind that the handle bars stuck out as I plan to affix mirrors and a removable basket to them. It is big enough to encompass the rack I threw on the back and likely a small pannier it I left it on.This bag is stylish, sturdy and extremely well made!!!I recommended this to my neighbor who stores her electric bike outside or anyone with a folding bike. Corrosion kills.

I purchased this bag to protect my 27.5'' Montague folding bike. It fits in the bag but the bike is a bit too wide for the zipper to close properly. My main goal is to protect the frame when I load the bike inside the car so not being able to completely zip the bag is fine for my purpose.For those who need to be able to close it completely, I suggest looking elsewhere. If you just need to fit the bike in the bag to protect it inside the car, it will be fine.

Works for my Montague Paratrooper bike, but it is a fairly tight fit: if you add bar-ends or anything else to the bike (like a front pannier rack, extension to the rear rack, etc.) you may have to pull them off or loosen and rotate them to get the zipper to close. I haven't done anything like ship the bag as a piece of luggage yet, so it is hard to predict durability; but while it seems sturdy enough in terms of the material and seams, it does look like the zipper will be the weak link. I plan to add a couple of small straps across the opening to take pressure off of the zipper and as a bit of insurance should the zipper split.

After searching for something to store my addmotor folding electric bike (20" wheels), this bag suits nicely. Amazon is one of the few sellers of Addmotor electric bikes and from other comments, there seems to be struggle finding an appropriate sized bag. The bag fits like a glove.That said, the material isn't the thickest, nor the seams the best. Time will tell if it holds up, but as Addmotor doesn't make their own and due the very odd dimensions of the Addmotor bikes, you'll be hard pressed to find anything that works.

This is a nicely made bag, and light weight so it doesn't make the bike any heavier. However, it's a tight fit for the bicycle. That's the reason I gave it a 4 star rating. The bicycle fits but, just barely, and it was quite a logistical trick to get the bike in the bag. There are not a lot of options for this type of thing so didn't have many options. Not sorry I bought it, and the price was good.

As others commented, this bag ripped wide open on first use. As a result I lost the keys to my lock somewhere over the Atlantic ocean so now I have a useless bike lock. There is also no padding- I wrapped my bike in a blanket. But the main problem is it's just very poorly constructed seams (fabric is quite heavyweight).I had no problem getting the bike in once I took handlebars and seat off; I don't understand others' comments about the fit being tight. I also used bungee cords to keep bike pieces tight and together. With that, it was easy to get in the bag- in fact, I think the bag was far too big for the bike and that's one of the reasons it ripped with so much extra give around the sides.Don't buy this, you'd be far better off with cardboard or even a clear furniture plastic bag in my opinion.

I am very pleased with all the items that I have purchased through Amazon....after reviewing all the items that I have purchased I regret not subscribing to Amazon Prime as the shipping cost would easily have been covered with the cost of Prime....Regarding the items I have purchased....I particularly find the three 500 Watt Ego bikes to be an absolutely wonderful concept....I am 75 years old and the EGO electric bicycles enable me to ride for hours on end as I was able to do in my 40's....Thank you for all the other products as well....Happy New Year...Frank J.
