Baby Journal: The Story of........ Diary – 20 May 2013

I love this baby book. I bought it to match my sons one that we had bought for us when he was born and was delighted to find Amazon still stocked them. It’s nothing too complicated but covers all areas of development. Also a nice small book size to keep on a shelf nothing too bulky!

After reading the reviews of this baby book it sounded like the perfect book for my second baby. I am however very disappointed in the quality of the book. It is different to the traditional baby record books which is good but it's mainly the overall quality which is disappointing. The book is small, appears cheaply made, important aspects of an infants development are missing and it is just not at all what I was expecting. I was going to return the item but after realising that there would be a cost for the refund I've decided to keep it and let my two year old use it to draw in!

Love this book. The layout is great and the illustrations are so cute. I've really enjoyed putting it together for baby. You can add your own notes as well as the suggested milestones too.

I very much like many aspects of this book, especially as the illustrations and typography feel like a very refreshing change from the 'cutesy' styles of other baby books. Was disappointed by the A5 size though and the front cover just being thin card. It would be so much better if it was bigger and had a proper hard cover. Not sure if my boy will be interested in how well he breastfed either when he looks at it in future and I doubt I'll have time to fill in the sleep charts (no chance with a two year old at home as well!!)Overall very lovely, and a great look, but if you are ordering do be aware that this isn't a chunky book for the bookshelf to fill with photos!

I am happy with this book, it contains all issues I wanted to record for my baby. I like the design, especially the drawings. The downside is the format and quality mentioned by other people. It would be so great if it was bigger, at lest 30% bigger. Sometimes it is difficult to write on these pages, when a lot of stuff is in on the previous ones. It looks like an old notebook for school, acceptable for me, but might be plain for others. But all in all I can recommend it.

This is such a good gift for new parents when you just do not know what to buy.thoroughly recommend as its made everyone happy so far!

Finally a Baby Journal that is not tacky! Full of beautiful illustrations, pockets to put all the little things you want to keep and useful but humorous tips. It also printed on different types of paper which adds a lot! Nice to have a baby journal that is gender neutral for all those parents who want to keep the gender of their baby a surprise. Perfect gift!

Nicest baby journal I've seen. Well made with envelopes and elastic fastening and beautifully illustrated. Agree with reviewer 1 - refreshing change from usual tacky fare.
