Lollipop and Grandpa and the Wobbly Tooth Paperback – 15 Sept. 2012

I'm a big fan of children's literature that stretches the imagination with maverick characters and wild ideas and this book absolutely fits that bill, with a fantastically wacky grandpa who suggests a series of crazy ideas for removing a tooth including an elephant sucking it out!The illustrations are fabulous and this lovely story celebrates an everyday childhood adventure (a tooth falling out) combined with the wonderful relationship between a grandfather and his grand-daughter. I also have a particular weakness for this book because Grandpa looks a bit like my own dad! I will definitely be investigating the rest of the books in this series.

My 6 year old daughter loves this book. She has lost her first two milk teeth, so she relates completely to the story! Wonderfully entertaining!
