Korean Face Primer SPF40 - Purple Tinted Makeup Base for Dull, Sensitive Skin - Color Correcting, Moisturizing, Anti-Yellow Tone Corrector(Primer - Purple Tinted)

This makeup/sunscreen is great! It hides my reddish face (thanks to an inherited condition), and doesn't dry the skin. It's a keeper!

I bought this (lavender shade) with the hope of using it without foundation to correct my yellow toned skin. Unfortunately it won't work for that. I have medium to fair yellow toned, dry skin. I am of Italian descent and I know this is made for Asian skin types. It did correct the yellow tone but it was way to white for me even with my regular foundation over it. It made me look pale and sickly. This may work fine for those with lighter skin tones but personally, I'm not going for the "just seen a ghost" look.This might be fine for those with oily skin but it's not great for dry skin. It made my face look dry and chalky even with a base of hyaluronic acid and a dewy type foundation over it. I need something with more moisture. It also tended to migrate into my fine lines and larger pores. Maybe that's a plus if you are using foundation over it.I like the fact that this has sunscreen in it but unfortunately it's not a keeper for me

I have a physical job, so applying this before my make up helps keep me matte and keeps my make up on. Feels light weight, helped with my pigmentation. The spf is a plus, also use as everyday moisturizer. It does leave a lilac tint but helps make your skin look brighter after putting on foundation.

Not very blendable

I was looking for a green primer with sunscreen, which wasn't easy to find. This goes on VERY thick and is a bit hard to blend. Because of that, I won't be a repeat customer but once makeup is on top of it, it does truly hold the makeup in place and does reduce red tones. Zero scent, which is great. Up to you if you can deal with the thickness.

Refines pores and color corrects

I originally got the purple tinted one because the item was listed as green at the point of this review. I contacted the vendors and they provided a replacement for the green one. It might be that they changed it but it hasn’t updated, however, I hope they either did or will change this.Because of that, I was able to try both. The purple tint one wasn’t a good match for me but my sister seems to like it. I am East Asian and lean towards the paler side. My sister has a slight tan and so maybe that was the reason. It looks much more natural on her.The green one was a good match as I do have some redness on my face. However, I gave this one to my sisters as we found out that she liked the formulation more than I do.This offers very good protection. I typically get SPF50 and PA++++ at the minimum. However, this is a very nice lightweight formula that doesn’t not feel, in any way, super heavy. It does have a lower SPF and PA rating, however, it would be leaps and bounds over any American version due to the limits in UV filter options. I would make sure that you know what you are getting though. I put on just a couple pumps with the purple one and I was left looking like Barney or a Teletubby. If you apply a lot of the green one, you’ll probably end up looking like the green Teletubby. I’m not sure what you might like, however, I would imagine this isn’t a popular look.
