It's perfect!
You need water to hike or walk a bit, and I hate to carry anything in my hands that I don't have to. I'm also not one to carry a backpack, I like to keep things light and easy to travel further. This fits the bill- water, keys, a small wallet or a credit card- it fits my essentials perfectly. The strap is so adjustable, I can carry it cross body, over my shoulder long length or ratchet it up and have it pulled up against my chest. And the color is just beautiful!

Useless bottom
This is the worst bottle holder that I've ever had due to the bottom design! As you can see that the bottom of the bag only has a strap in the middle. A normal size normal water bottle can easily slip out from either side of the strip. I also tried large bottles in hoping that those would not slip out. However if the bottle is too fat, then inserting a cell phone into the front pocket becomes difficult. Go figure!
