This ice machine is just perfect for those who don’t have an ice machine in their refrigerator. This is our second one and we hope it will last a little longer than the first one. We like the improvements on this model.

Works great, it makes enough ice to fill my work drink cooler every day

It makes lots of ice! Really nice machine.

This ice machine came in and didn’t work. We contacted the manufacturer. They are out of this model. We called the warranty company and told them what it was doing. They sent a relay switch, but didn’t have anybody in our area to service. We found our own service man. He replaced the part and it still didn’t work. He thinks it may be the compressor. We talked to the manufacturer this week. They are expecting this to be restocked in October and they will ship us another one, but we have to package the non working one up and ship it back to them what a hassle!! In the meantime, we have paid more than $500.00 for a non working ice machine and won’t get a replacement until at least October. At least the customer service people have been nice.

Easy hook-up. Works great right out of the box producing around 12 pounds of solid crescent shaped ice cubes. It definitely beats paying the $600 it would have cost me to repair the old U-line, which would have been at least twice the price to replace!

Makes plenty of ice. Shut off and open door to defrost every week or so. Easy hook up to water line. So far after several months no problems

I have had the ice maker now for less than a months and so for so good. It came promptly and well packaged and I had no problem with the installation. It replaced a U-line ice maker that I have had 3 of over a 25 year span. Though this Edgestar is smaller in capacity it is 3 times cheaper than the U-line. This is not a bad trade off if I get several years of service from this one.

This is my third one. They seem to last 5 or 6 years on a covered outdoor deck.
