Good, slightly elastic ties for fruit trees. Recommended.

After only a couple of months, buckles started to snap in modest winds and on small newly planted trees.Lost a lot of expensive trees to this problem and the supplier has not responded to my request for support.

I used this product to plant a small orchard and found them excellent. They are quick and easy to fit, hold firmly without chaffing the bark and will be simple to slacken off as the trees grow. A quick tip: if your tree has a lovely smooth trunk, there could be a tendancy for the tie to slide down as the wind causes movement. A galvanised clout in the stake just below the tie will keep it in position. I can't wait for harvest time.

Poor finish to the edging of the buckles. Strap thinner than in buckles previously purchased at a similar price. Will be interested to see just how long they last fastened to a tree in windy conditions. Would probably not buy again.

Good quality ties and a reasonable price as well.
