To get your skillet bone dry, pop it on the burner to remove extra moistureLightly oil after use: Once dried, rub your skillet with a thin layer of vegetable oil before storingSeasoning: Drop a tablespoon of vegetable oil on the pan/utensil and spread it around with your fingers or a paper towel. (Take care not to burn yourself on a warm skillet!). Oil the outside and the handle, too. Next, take a folded napkin and wipe off the excess oil. You’ll want the skillet to be lightly greased. Set your oven to 350 degrees and put some aluminum foil on the bottom rack. Then pop the skillet in, upside down, on the upper rack for about 1 hour. Lovely product.
I have used this for making corn balls (no aebleskivers yet) but I have no reason to believe it won't work because.It's flat so rests neatly on the glass ceramic hobIt's non stick provided one uses a little oil or butterIt's very heavyAnd it made tasty corn balls.The cups are 5cm dia by about 2cm deep. Bottom of the cups is slightly flat as it would have to be for resting on the hob. I used this on glass ceramic hob. One needs to heat this throughly at low heat (3-4 on 9 scale for me) for a while before starting to make the dish. The centre cup gets slightly hotter than the outer ones but that's not a problem - just turn it quicker and remove it sooner than the others. The handle is short and gets hot - it's best to use a silicone sleeve for the handle.
