I have tried several brands of methyl-folate after it was recommended by my Dr. This brand is good but super low potency. It is only 1mg. I usually take 10 mg. This would be a good product for kids but I would get a higher dosage as an adult to see benefits, in my opinion.

I have the MTHFR gene mutation so i need to take this daily. I ordered this & upon receiving it noticed they use rice flour & other fillers that are just not necessary.i will use these, AFTER i run out of other brands i currently have that are much cleaner. i did take a few days worth to see if they caused any issues & they didnt. thats good at least.i wouldnt buy these again due to the high amount of fillers. 2/5

Having MTFHR I need the active form of folate. I found this brand to be the most effective of a few I've tried.I typically take this every 3 days in my supplement routine.This bottle will last me forever.

My doctor suggested taking 5-MTHF daily to boost my vitamin b levels. I usually take the Thorne 5mg, but when I saw this 1mg I thought it might be a great way for my husband to start taking it and his body to adjust as he slowly increases the dose. It's only been a few days, but so far, so good. No adverse affects yet.
