I'm loving the "Words Are Hard" prompt deck. It's pretty stellar. Astrohaus always does a great job with their products, and this one's no exception. Not to mention it's surprisingly affordable, which is awesome!But what truly got me excited is how it delivers. Pick a card at random and bam, you're off to the races. And the prompts? They're cleverly done, showing serious creativity of the folks that wrote them. It's absolutely gorgeous as well. The wood plank that comes with it to lift the cards? It looks fantastic on my desk. It adds a touch of elegance to the whole setup.Hats off to the team behind this!

Everything about this felt high quality. The cards are made of a thicker stock than I expected and have a nice matte finish to them. The box is also genuinely pretty and not something I would ever want to hide away.The cards are prompts for different genres of writing. As I mainly stick to fantasy, I don't know if I'll ever use the sci-fi ones but the romance and mystery ones can all be tuned to fit my world.Also, I prefer the idea of prompt cards over a journal with writing prompts because it's easier to pick one at random an there's no limit to the space in which to write.Very happy with the purchase!
