Apex Lenses Replacement Lenses for Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer RW4008 (53MM) Sunglasses

I have the transition lenses. Large Ray Ban frames, so the 53mm lenses fit in perfectly. The transition lenses get really dark in direct sunlight. I couldn't ask for a better product.

Can confirm these fit the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarers size XXL very well. These lenses are a hair wider (in all dimensions) than the stock lenses. Removing and re-installing the stock lenses is very easily. Installing the Apex's is fairly easy, as well.Removing the Apex's (to swap them out) was the most challenging part, but I got it eventually. This was my first time swapping lenses on plastic glasses, and I was able to do it without applying any heat. Given that the Apex lenses are a bit challenging to remove, you probably wouldn't want to keep swapping them on a regular basis, but once in a while should be fine.Compared to the stock lenses, these are about as clear and have maybe a bit more glare on the inside. The glare might be inherent to mirrored lenses. Overall, they work great as a replacement, especially given the limited options available from Ray-Ban.I ordered two pairs of lenses, and one pair arrived with a product defect. Getting that one refunded was very easy, even with the product being sold and shipped by Apex, not Amazon.

Replacement lenses for 53mm RayBan Meta Wayfarers. The lenses arrived in a nice zippered case and with a soft glasses bag. They fit perfectly and are very clear. I like these almost better than the stock lenses I replaced.

Photochromic are a perfect fit and high quality. Watching youtube videos, I thought the process would be quite easy. It was not. I used a hairdryer and spent considerable time trying to get them installed. I was fearful of cracking the lenses and the frames. Success came at last with great relief. The lenses are expensive but are excellent quality and unlike many photochromic lenses, these actually darken quite well.This is an honest review I was not asked to write and I paid full price.

These do not transition. Simple and plain. Tried to use them in daylight and they remain the same color as at night which is a slightly foggy clear color. Ended up buying another pair from a different brand and they worked so I returned these.

Lenses are always slightly tinted and never go fully clear indoors, so the indoor look is only slightly better than wearing sunglasses indoors.In comparison, my son has Ray Ban transitions and they are so much better. Clear indoors and tinted outside.

I replaced the Dark Gradient lenses (the XLarge frames are hard to come by - and the Transitions XL are Sold Out) and I can now wear them Everywhere. To remove the originals, press out from the bottom of the frame. Installation is deliberate, and it should be. They are perfect for catching candid moments and wearing the META glasses all day - Great investment.I added the "Shooter Yellow" lenses to my purchase, and they are also Excellent. The increased clarity of the Yellow lenses is immediately noticeable to the wearer - take your pick.

They fit nicely but as you can see from my photo, the left lense is this Amazon “transitional” lens and it looks grey not clear indoors. On the right is the meta transitional reading lens that I absolutely dislike because of the augmentation making them feel fisheyed but it’s without a doubt less gray. Making this lens’s unusable indoors since my job requires me to identify and match colors to a T. If a little gray in the lens’s doesn’t bother you then it’s a solid buy. 5 stars because theyre inexpensive and fitted, a 2 because I have no use for them a since they’re gray and not clear when indoors
