Good cut deeper cuts
Used these to hold my sliced thumb together after the first day or 2 of healing. Stored the rest in my preps. Great thing to have around in a pinch.

Didn't work on a short haired dog
I read a review that said it worked on a dog so i decided to try it. No such luck even with her short hair. I know its made for humans and maybe its sticky enough for non-hairy people

Works!
Love these! The adhesive stays and keeps the wound closed to help give time to heal, but does not stick so hard as to rip skin off when removing. I have extremely sensitive skin and usually get more wounds when removing medical tapes or bandages.

Worked great!
Used them on my dog’s laceration. Saved me a huge vet bill for sutures.

very poor adhesion
The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately, this wound closure bandage does not have good sticking ability. First off, do not even try to reposition it as it will be totally useless. However, even if you don’t try to adjust its position, it sticks very poorly. It didn’t even last a few minutes. These are very expensive at $37 for 10 bandages. Look elsewhere. This is very poorly manufactured.

Good for at-home, adhesive too weak for real first aid emergency kits
These are handy, and I like the design to tighten the edges. However, the adhesive is a bit on the weak side and that makes me consider them okay for light use but not really for the first aid emergency kit

May not be sticky enough for long-term application
Full disclosure, I haven't used these on a wound yet. This is the third package of this type of product I've purchased, but the others were single items and I didn't want to open them and try them out. Since this package contains 10, I felt I should familiarize myself with the product so that I'll feel confident using it in a high stress situation of closing a wound. The packages have a left and right set, already knit together. You apply it across the wound, then gently pull on the little zip ties on either side to pull the skin together. The adhesive is decent, but not extraordinary. It's very important to clean the area thoroughly and make sure it's dry, as this doesn't seem like it will allow any repositioning. (Though you can probably add some other bandage tape to keep them secure later.)You can see from my photo is securely pulls the skin together (obviously I pulled it WAY too much). It's not too bad doing it yourself if the spot is accessible, but probably better to have help. It's also kind of bigger than I thought, so putting it on my medium sized female forearm didn't seem at ALL comfortable, because the mechanism that holds the zip ties sits so high above the wound area. So be prepared to add some other cushioning or protection just so you don't snag it on anything.I don't know if these are a great value or not right now, but I know that I live in a rural area, where it might take 45 minutes to 2 hours to get to emergency care, so being able to treat a non-life threatening wound is well worth it to me.
