Great Value
I have a couple of smaller single LED, single 18650 battery flashlights like the Fenix PD32 which are small, light and designed for "always carry." One rides in a Nite Ize holster with my Leatherman tool. I've become a big fan of the 18650 battery which has lots of power but even more important is internally electronically regulated so that it delivers full voltage until exhausted. The flashlight does not dim during long use. I was looking for a larger "grab and go" flashlight using the same CREE LED, 18560 battery technology - something like a modern version of the old 4 to 6 D cell Maglite. The Trustfire is about half the price of the much smaller Fenix so my expectation wasn't too high despite good reviews here. I'm really pleased. It feels great in my hand. As you can see from the picture, the head diameter is larger - about the size of the D cell Maglite - and the body is slim - a little larger than the Fenix. It feels solid and balanced if I hold the body just behind the head. It is heavier than I expected - there is a lot of solid aluminum. I doesn't show well in the picture but the ridges just back of the head are quite deep and designed to be a heat sink - all that heat when on full power needs to go somewhere. For tactical use I prefer the Fenix which uses one switch (right under your thumb) to change modes and another at the back to turn on momentarily or fully. With only one switch at the back, the Trustfire changes mode each time you turn it on or off. If you turn it off, you need to cycle through 5 on and offs (10 button pushes) to get back to the same mode. I can't verify 3800 lumens but it is a really bright floodlight. At medium power just laying on the ground at the edge of a camp site it provides plenty of illumination for set up - much better than my Fenix with a headlamp adapter. If you are comfortable with the pro style industrial 18650 LiIon rechargeable battery - like in a laptop - this is a good choice. About the size and weight of an old high quality 2 D cell flashlight but a lot brighter, longer lasting in use and probably more important, longer shelf life until you need it.

Great flashlight and really great seller.
Absolutely love this flashlight. I have no way of testing the output but i am sure it is much less than 3,800 lumens. So why do you ask did i give it 5 stars? Well the price was ridiculously low. Even though i think its output is overrated it is the brightest flashlight i own by far. Shine this thing in your face and you will have a headache. Compare the brightness of this flashlight to others it price range and i bet it is 3-4 times as bright. I know this because i have 6 others in this price range and i loved them until i got this one. Now the others don't impress me near as much as they used to. The body is solid aluminum and you could probably smash a brick to pieces with it. Still i bet you are wondering why all 5 stars? That is simple. The seller is outstanding. The write up confused me a little. I made a mistake. I complained about it and after pointing out my mistake they went out of their way to fix MY error. They were timely in getting back to me. Not once did i feel like they were blowing me off. The stereo type (which is normally accurate) of Chinese companies not caring is not true with 365 Shopping. Will always check to see if they sell what i am looking for because if i can buy it from them i know i am buying from someone that deserves my money.

Good product
This flash light isnt bad. Is it 3800lm? NO way in hell. Is it bright for the price? Absolutly! It comes in two pieces. This gives you the option of running it on two or three batteries. Its bright either way. I would guess somwhere around 600-800lm but have not measured it. Even with it full size and all three batteries in it I still can fit it in the glove box and its no longer than a 2 cell mag light. However the handle is only about one ince in diameter so if you have big hands it may be hard to hold on to. The face is about the size of a mag light face. Each seal for the multiple pieces, about five, are double O ring sealed. I havent tested its water resistance but if I droped it in a puddle I think it would be fine. The life is short if you use it on the brightest setting but that is why I have multiple lights in the car at all times. I havent tried, but will in the future, to mount it to a shot gun or rifle but im sure there is a way with the small size of the handle. The strobe is very fast and disorienting, even in daylight. Would be a good light to have around the house in case of power outage or intruder. If you dont blind them long enough to make them want to leave your house you can beat them with it. The edges of the face are farely sharp and the head is fairly big so im sure it could be used as a weapon if need be. All in all I like this flash light. I own more than I care to admit and have some very bright ones in my collection. This one is prity high up on the blinding scale but since it is no where neer the 3800lm labled on the handle I gave it 4 stars. However I would buy a few more for around the house, shop and as gifts.
