Brilliant projector
Awesome projector for the price. Great picture quality can change the fan speed which makes it super quiet

Really amazing quality for the price
The media could not be loaded. For the price this projector is incredible if you understand its limitations and give it optimal conditions under which to work.In a dark room, decent screen to project on and some tinkering with a few sound and other settings then it’s really good.

Decent picture from a fairly small projector
Impressed with what this projector looks like just from the packaging which protects everything well and gives a higher end appearance.Contents are straightforward. There's the projector which has a rubber lens cap fitted., the remote control complete with batteries, a spare dust filter (that's easily replaceable) and an AV cable. On the top is the main function button along with power switch, home key and a return or 'back' button. On the back is the mains power socket, 2x HDMI ports, 2x USB A ports an ethernet cable port, headphone socket and an AV input (for the included cable). The output is 1080P but looks clear and sharp, colours are well defined. The size of the image can only be varied by the distance you are projecting over so nearer is smaller - move it away and you get a bigger image.I though the focus and keystone correction worked pretty well and was easy to set up.Using a signal source like a firestick through one of the HDMI ports also worked fine. The image I posted was just projected onto the blinds in our kitchen and didn't show anything unusual- the lines are just from the blinds and the colour range was perfectly good.Overall compared to others I've tested this seems to be a bit brighter and sharper under the same conditions - it would also be ideal for any office projection from a laptop or similar but may be a bit large to carry round. Thanks for reading.

Adjustable fan noise for the win!
The media could not be loaded. Curtains open and ceiling lights on I can watch this thing and see everything in the daytime.Want a quiet fan noise at night when watching movies? You can turn the fan noise down in return for losing some luminance, actually not that much luminance sacrificed though. Was told it'll only read 1TB hard drive but reads my 2TB external hard drive full with all my shows and movies (must format your drive as "fat32", not exfat or ntfc. I used aomei partition software to do this)The on screen brightness, saturation, hue, colour temperature, contrast and sharpness are really useful to adjust to taste.Adjust the bass and treble of the built in speaker, actually pretty decentb and goes pretty loud, I just use the aux cable for big speakers during movie nights. The built in USB sockets actually give decent power too, so you can power an Amazon fire stick right from the projector, no wall plug needed. The focus wheel is nice and accurate and focus is great.Buttons on the remote have a nice feel to them, small but nice detail. The company actually is good to communicate with, replied quick to my email about what size mounting screws it uses (M5).

Amazing picture quality with a fatal flaw
Gen 3 PJ40 Review: Good device overall, but has a major dust problem. Found dust inside within 1 hour of unboxing and it's impossible to remove. Can't tell if unit was used before, but either way, this seems like a design flaw. Everything else works great, but the dust issue is a dealbreaker.

Exceeded my expectations.
After quite some indecision and doubt about buying a budget projector I am very pleased with the PJ40.I have it coupled with a PS5, a Chromecast and some active speakers. Very please with the result.

Great quality, easy to set up
The media could not be loaded. I’m SO impressed with this projector! The quality is amazing and it can fill an entire wall. I’m only using it on a small bit of wall but it can expand in clear view to MUCH bigger. It’s nice and bright so it showed up nicely even with the curtains drawn back and windows fully letting light in.It was easy to figure out the controls and set up, but the instruction manual is really helpful to have as a reference. The remote came with batteries, too.It has a little foot underneath that you can twist to expand/collapse to help raise it up a bit.The only thing I will say is that the fan is fairly noisy, but that’s to be expected with a projector. I’ve only used it for one day now so unsure about durability. So far so good!
