Hits very well good quality
Ive been playing a long time, but I took a few years off. During my time off, my friends all switched to graphite shafts with names like Cuetec, Predator, and Jacoby. While I liked the smooth feel and hit of qraphite, I couldn't justify the the prices. When I saw these for $170 I took a chance. Glad I did, the quality and feel of these is excellent. I even bought a second one (which looks and hits exactly like the first). Although they don't look as Perfect as the Predators and Cuetecs, they are as good as the others I've seen, smooth with good feel andexcellent hit. The included tip has been playing great. I'd say it's a medium hard, which of course can easily be changed- Which is another plus- some graphite shafts have such a very small ferrule that makes them difficult to change tips. These shafts have a little more ferrule. I am now shooting with these instead of my 314's.

These shafts are OK I guess
I bought 2 of these, the 11.8mm and the 12.5mm, to mate them up with 2 different old cues I have. Both of these shafts have small defects. The 11.8 is slightly warped, this can't be fixed. The 12.5 is straight but it had undersize threads. The 11.8 shaft also did not fit the purple cue because the diameter of the purple cue at the joint is .012" smaller than the diameter of the new shaft. This is not the fault of the shaft but needed to be addressed if I wanted it to look right. BTW the warp in the 11.8 shaft is not terribly bad but you can see it in one of the photos of it resting on my pool table, look for the daylight between the shaft and the shadow.I wrote a long review explaining in detail how I used my own handiwork to reduce the joint size of the 11.8 to make it match the purple cue and touched it up with some flat black paint, and how I fixed the minor thread defect on the 12.5 with a tool I obtained on my own. I also wrote at length about how these shafts play for me and how overall I'm happy with the results after correcting a couple small issues. Some robot rejected my review and won't tell me what I did wrong. So this is all I can tell you now. Look at the photos and see if you can figure things out for yourself. Sorry but I can't answer any questions. I already tried my best to help. Good luck.

very solid cues
SHORTER VERSION: I've been playing pool for over 30 years, and every now and then I can play well. I ultimately wound up buying five of these shafts for various pool cues, and now I play with them exclusively. That should tell you everything you need to know.LONGER VERSION: These shafts play quite well, with a solid hit (but not jarring), minimal deflection, and more predictable english. They are of good quality for the price and are very low maintenance. I have a much more expensive carbon fiber shaft, but the ferrule on it is less durable and the english far less predictable. These shafts transfer the "feel" of the hit back to you better than many carbon fiber shafts, which provides better feedback on what went wrong or right with your stroke. Wood shafts are still best for that though. The seller's pictures are accurate so there's no need to add my own photos here. The tips that these shafts come with are average, but once they have been gone over with a tip pick they hold chalk well without constant maintenance. They provide decent english, but if you need extreme english (for example, you're performing trick shots) you'll want to replace them. As mentioned, the tip contributes to more predictable english so I think it's a decent compromise. For most of my cues I haven't bothered replacing them, but if I ever need to I'll probably replace them with my usual brand. If you've never used a carbon fiber shaft, there will be an adjustment period but stick with it. These shafts are well worth the price.

Quality made
This is a nice carbon fiber shaft. I've been playing with it for a few weeks and it has a nice feel to it.

Pockets balls.
I’m so in love with this CueDesg Shaft. I shoot so much better. I use it with my meucci butt. We had to shave the extra metal to fit better. The price is reasonable for such an awesome shaft!

I love this pool cue shaft
I ordered this shaft to go with my Players pool cue. I wanted to try carbon fiber. I loved it from day one. Perfect fit to my Players cue. No warping, natural sound, and easy sighting. Others criticized the tip. It is soft, but I prefer that to a hard tip. I am still using the same tip after 6 months of regular play. For the price, I think this pool shaft is a bargain. I am considering ordering another from CUEDESG. This time, I will buy the entire cue stick and see if that compares favorably. I have recommended this shaft to friends. But, I did not have to after they tried it for themselves.

shaft not straight
bought it but never checked it for straight cause its carbon fiber. love the tip, its quietness and consistency from its 12.5mm size. played with it for 2 months and got better at the game. finally checked it because im playing in 9 ball tournaments. checked it on a 9' Brunswick table without the butt connected and it has a low high wable. metally i can't get pass the wable anymore.
