This is an intoxicating fragrance that smells far more expensive than it actually is. I’ve had it in my basket for ages, waiting to buy it for my husband, and I finally took the plunge. It smells absolutely delicious and could easily be worn by a woman (I’ve even threatened to claim it if he ever stops wearing it), but it settles into a distinctly masculine scent.To me, it evokes the cosy atmosphere of a coffee shop filled with wooden bookshelves and the scent of paper, newspapers, freshly baked biscuits, and frothing milk in the air. Don’t let that put you off though – it remains unmistakably masculine. I love it when my husband wears this fragrance and enjoy snuggling up to him, breathing in the scent on his neck after he’s sprayed it.The sillage is impressive, and the fragrance lasts for several hours. Mauboussin fragrances consistently offer excellent quality and performance, and I’m always surprised by how affordable they are. The bottle design is quirky and fun, adding a little character to the overall experience.

From a Foe to an Ally
I didn’t really like this fragrance at first, was a bit too strong and spicy. An hour later I was like: “God is it me, I smell so good. Didn’t really expect this!” The crisp vanilla with saffron notes, this one really shines once it takes its time.

Beautiful
This has to be one of my favourite go to fragrances now. I wear it almost everyday and for the price it is definitely highly recommend. It last on my skin for 3-4 hours I don't mind reapplying due to the price. The smell reminds me a bit of Thierry Mugler pure Havana but it's got it own vibe going on too. I absolutely love this and the price is just wow

Very generic
I've got a couple of other Mauboussin fragrances that I love so bought this blind without knowing what it smelt like. I'm disappointed. It is very generic and blokey. Its not one that I will be using.

Creamy Vanilla
It is a refined, warm, creamy scent which is a good choice if that is what you are looking for. Very good value.
