Very comfy and warm. Great buy!
I'm very happy with this purchase. It was a bit more than I was wanting to pay for a sleeping bag, but I really wanted a down bag and this is pretty much the cheapest one going. I slept in this on a Big Agnes Air Air Core Ultra 4.5r mat, so I already had some good insulation under me for a May weather, but I was very toasty. It wasn't too toasty though, which is important to know. I slept solid for two nights, one of which was fairly cool as the rain had swept in. The hood and collar provide great warmth for the top half, the thick and soft down throughout keeps you comfortable and warm, and the foot box prevents you from feeling restrained at the feet. I'm 5"11 and there was still an inch or two of room at the bottom. The pocket just fits my Galaxy S10 with some wiggling. Smooth zips and a decent pack size meant I had a great trip without worrying about my sleep system at all. Highly recommend!

Great value and quality. But no good for 20 F degrees!
It’s a very fine sleeping bag with good features and a zipper that doesn’t get stuck! I use the phone pouch to keep my phone warm, but bear in mind it fits an iPhone 7 but not the large size. The reason I haven’t given the bag 5 stars is because it isn’t as warm as it claims. 20 degrees F is -6.6 degrees C. I’ve used it in -2 degrees C and above and I’ve been cold despite also using a silk liner! Had to wear several layers and my feet were still chilly. It’s probably good down to +5 degrees C without a liner. But it’s a very good price for what it is.

Snug as a bug
After years of freezing in tents and on boats in inadequate sleeping bags and wasting money on trying out numerous ones…. I have found this Kielty sleeping bag to be perfect . It’s very light and squashes right down in its own stuff sack and even squashes more in a compression sack . It’s a lovely , light , warm and snuggly fit , I’m 5 ft 6 female , and there’s room for my inflatable pillow in the hood , which has toggles . The zip is first rate , if you’re careful , no snags and there’s a snag guard strip of fabric to help avoid snags . I’ve used it in late spring / summer so far and haven’t felt chilly at all, I’ve even not had to use my gortex outer bag which I had to with more basic , non down sleeping bags . I used to have sleeping bag envy when I saw a friend with a super light , down , easy to squash sleeping bag .. now I don’t because I just love my Kielty . I couldn’t afford an expensive high end down bag , but did my research and this one is the best budget down bag which will not disappoint ! The outer fabric is really silky and the down filling , once the bag is shaken out , fills the bag up evenly all over . I’m so happy with my sleeping bag . In winter I’m sure all I need to add is a fleece liner and , if needed my gortex outer bivvy bag . Great sleeping bag , one happy customer .

Not a 20 degree bag
This is regular sleeping bag which certainly did not feel warm while trying to sleep fully dressed in 5 degree Celsius / 40 Fahrenheit.

Quality!
It screams quality! Warm as toast, very comfortable with movement to move. Tip, I always store mine draped over a clothes hanger with my clothes in the cupboard when not in use, DONT leave it long term in the stuff sack, crushes all the down and ruins it long term.

Provides decent comfort and warmth that is small and light enough for some 3-season backpacking.
The Kelty Cosmic 20 is one of the most affordable sleeping bags you can find that's filled with down insulation.Although it's not exceptional in any particular aspect, it provides decent comfort and warmth in a package that is small and light enough for some 3-season backpacking. The Cosmic might still be worth considering if low cost and packability are the most important characteristics for your needs.

Not the lightest, but by far the best value
I've used this bag on 3 different nights so far backpacking. While it's not the lightest (the long weighing just under 3 pounds), it's light enough and compressible enough and most importantly warm enough. The coldest I've used it in is 28F and I was warm and cozy from head to toe. The other 2 nights were around the freezing mark as well. Keep in mind, they test the ratings of bags with a test dummy that has thermal tops and bottoms on, socks, a beanie, and on top of a sleeping pad with an r-value of 5.7. If you aren't wearing those things or have a lesser r-value pad, your results will vary. However, that's how I sleep and I was completely toasty and comfortable. I would feel safe taking it down to the 20 degree rating based on my experience. It fit perfectly in my pack, and the 300 dollars I saved buying this one over one that is a pound lighter was able to be spent on a good pad/pillow set up and a lighter tent.
