No-Tritium Fiber Optic Red/Green Sights for Pistol Taurus G2C, PT111, G3, TX22, G2, 709, G2S, PT140, 740, Taurus G2C Accessories Sights Set

These sights will not fit a Taurus GX2, I searched for sights that would be compatible.....these are not. Unfortunately, the return window had closed before I attempted the install, so I am stuck with a set of sights I can't use. That said, they are good quality, and quite bright.....I should've tried to install them before now.

Was a struggle to get it to fit. "square peg in a round hole" so to speak. Finally got it in, but then the screw was loose. Went to the range, and almost fell off after 4-5 rounds through it. Thought it was maybe my mistake so I went home and re-tightened everything. Went back to the range and the same thing happened. Spins around, barely holding on with the screw, after a couple rounds through.

A lot of people in here said that they were had a hard time getting them on had to make the hole bigger and all that the back sites were super easy to put on the front sights slid right on the screw went right on. So in my opinion, if you have A g2C, it should fit. No problem, the only difference was to take the old sites off was a different size Allen wrench. But to put 'em on the wrench, they gave you worked just fine, so my opinion went on easy, took 10 minutes. So all these people that are saying that they had a hell of a time and it doesn't fit the G2C in my opinion, it fits wonderful so you know, 5 stars in my opinion definitely worth the $17 so you can believe what you want to believe, but I got mine on in 10 minutes and they fit great, and they're doing great so 5 star review..

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Very tight fit for the rear sight. Had to dremel it down and still had to tap it in with a hammer

Yes, the screws are too long and YOU WILL break the front sight fiber optic. I can not find this sight Fiber optic diameter online to replace it but super glue works. Shorten the length of the shortest screw out of the 2 sent and the 2 you took off or you WILL break the front fiber optic rod. Yes you will have to narrow the front sight to get it to fit in the slot, 2 strokes with a file on each side is all it takes, go slow. Yes, use blue Loctite. YES, I am happy with my $16. sights on my $200. pistol. The new sights are a step up from the white dots but don't expect miracles, it is what it is. Have fun, who uses sights anyway in a fight? UPDATE.....020 diameter fiber optic is what ya' need if you break one.

Bought to replace the cheap adjustable sights on the TX22. These sights do require some filing to fit correctly. If you dont have a small needle file set i would buy one. My front sight needed filed to fit, it has an oval that the sight sits in and these sights were too big out of the box. The rear sight is also too big and had to file the dovetail down on the front side to fit. I had them installed in less than 10 minutes or so and after sighting my pistol in for windage at 7 yards, the sights shoot a little low. I have to cover up the bulleseye with the front sight instead of the traditional 6 O'clock hold. I would definitely buy again since they are good sights for the price.

Work great, easy installation, recommend using lock tight when installing.

Garbage sites. Front site doesn’t even fit. Had to carefully sand bottom of site to fit in place. Rear site keeps pulling to left when securing in place. Won’t sty centered. Front sight green optic fell out after 3 shots fired at the rang. Very unhappy with this product. No stars from me.
