I have used this product in the past and have had wonderful results. I had thought that my older dishwasher needed to be replaced because I was seeing some black gunk inside. My daughter suggested that I try this Finish product. I can use it while dishes are in the dishwasher as well. Not all products allow the dishes in the dishwasher when using. It does a terrific job of cleaning the interior. My only disappointment and why I gave it a 4 star is because the package this time is in a in a foreign language possibly eastern European?

When I got my Bosch dishwasher almost 12 years ago, I was told to keep it clean. That, according to the tech, was the most important thing. Due to the small amount of water used, soap would be left behind along with whatever else was present, causing the unseen parts to collect these materials and shorten the life of my purchase. Being frugal in nature, I decided to do the best I could for my new purchase. I was also told to use nothing but Finish products, which I have done since I bought the dishwasher. It runs like new, cleans my dishes, and still looks and smells wonderfully. I am very happy I followed these instructions and recommend this product without hesitation. I simply toss a packet into the bottom of the dishwasher, place a detergent pellet into the dispenser and turn the machine on. It's easy, and it works.

The Finish In-Wash Dishwasher Cleaner has helped improve some buildup and odor in my dishwasher, but it hasn't fully solved the issue. I appreciate how easy it is to use—just toss it in with a regular load—but I expected a more noticeable deep clean, especially for hidden grease and grime. While my dishwasher does look a bit fresher, there are still some stubborn spots and lingering residue that didn’t go away completely. It’s a decent maintenance cleaner, but for a truly deep clean, I may need to try another product or manual scrubbing. Overall, it’s good for light upkeep but not a miracle fix. Might work better if used more frequently!

Between using these and Cascade Platinum pods, the odor in our Bosch dishwasher has been reduced significantly. I think the higher quality pods are just as important. The interior of the washer looks cleaner, more polished. Also, I'm really bad about cleaning out the drain filter. It usually has an off-white mush coating the fine mesh which requires washing under the faucet with soap and hot water and a scouring pad. After using two of these tabs in two weeks for an initial cleaning, the filter is 95% clean when it would normally be gross, so it must be doing something. For the cheap price, I'm going to keep using them.

Did as per instructions and now all my dishes smell like chemical and re-washed them 3 times already and they still smell. Gross! Wish I would have used the this product without dishes in the dishwasher.
