Delicious and so easy to drink
Absolutely delicious shakes, so tasty! They are thick and don’t taste like a cheaper protein drink. You really do get what you pay for, although that said, I’ve taken off one star as they are more expensive than what I think many could afford to buy on a very regular basis. The quality of the drink is delicious though, so maybe it’s better to have quality over quantity.

Tastes great
Tastes great not too sweet either. And it's pre mixed so no grainy bits at the bottom. Definitely worth trying

The 'numbers' are OK but it has a crude flavour, not the most pleasant.
Really nothing special here, protein from milk solids, its good there isn't sugar but sweetener instead. Cocoa. The big disappointment is the taste (chocolate), its just got a crude cocoa powder flavour, not a proper chocolate, it doesn't seem all that smooth a texture either, its really not very nice. Its tolerable, if it were a medicine, for a not cheap, bought drink its disappointing. Its handy enough to use, but normally its £28 for 12 so £2.33 each, expensive for a very simple formula, even on offer at £25.19 (£2.10) it just doesn't feel that good a product. Any supermarket, you can get a better shake with similar numbers and recipe for well under 2 quid.

Easy (although expensive) alternative to mixing up a protein shake
These are a standard sized (330ml) small drink, and with 25 grams of protein, it's a decent post-gym shake - that's about comparable to the amount I get out of a whey protein powder serving. I don't know what constitutes 'a lot' of calories, fat, or carbs/sugars, but comparing it to a normal popular brand plain strawberry milkshake, it has around the same amount of calories, nearly a third of the fat, under half of the carbs/sugar, and about the same salt. Protein, of course, is significantly higher (about 150% of the normal milkshake). It doesn't have a particularly long expiry date, mine was delivered on the 17th Dec and I've got until the 8th Feb next year to finish them, but that's to be expected with a milk product. It looks like they can be stored at room temperature, and while the listing states that they can be drunk that way as well, the bottles themselves suggest chilling before drinking (and I'd agree, room temperature milk isn't pleasant). Taste-wise it's very similar to my whey protein shakes, although without the texture of clumps or bubbles. There is a very slight aftertaste of something that makes it taste just a little bit more processed than what I'm used to, but it's not enough to be a problem. The only drawback is that these are a fairly expensive way to get some protein, at the current price of £27.99 for 12 (so around £2.33 each). That's about the price you'd buy in a gym's vending machine, but quite a bit more expensive than getting a bag of whey powder in bulk and mixing it yourself. Still, if you're willing to pay for the convenience then these are a decent option.

A useful and convenient way to consume additional protein
A Lot number and a best before date of 14/04/2026 are printed on the lids of the bottles I received from my December 2025 order. Not suitable for freezing, is stated on the label. Can be refrigerated after opening and consumed within 24 hours. It won't be necessary because I will be drinking a full bottle after opening. I think most people will do the same. The bottles are slender and comfortable to hold. Making it easy to transport one in a bag or a jacket pocket. Containing a 330ml milkshake. The protein content comes from skimmed milk and milk proteins. There is no mention of there being any specific percentages of whey isolate, whey concentrated protein, and casein. Which the first two are found in the company's whey blend protein powder products I have recently reviewed. A lid seal is present for safety and peace of mind. When opening the lid the seal breaks and the lid remains partially attached to the seal ring. I don't find it gets in the way when drinking from the bottle. The lid can always be pressed down with a finger, whilst drinking. I find the chocolate flavour to be enjoyable. It's a milky chocolate taste. Not a strong chocolate taste, but it also isn't weak. I would not describe the consistency of the liquid to be that of a milkshake. It seems a bit too runny in my opinion to be one. Easy to drink. Due to the flow of the beverage from the bottle. Very refreshing. Especially after having been cooled in a fridge. Being milk based makes it ideal to boost protein intake during a day, or taken before bed. Using a whey protein isolate/whey protein blend after a workout for a quicker uptake is usually recommended. This product is convenient, tasty, and fits the purpose it has been designed for. Just stating milk proteins is a bit of a unknown. If it contained decent percentage amounts of casein, and/or a type of whey protein I think it would be specified, because it would be a stronger selling point. It contains natural sugars and the sweetener Sucralose. A plus point is the flavour comes from fat-reduced cocoa and isn't an artificial chemical added flavour. Certainly a useful, convenient, and effective product for easily getting a decent serving size of protein; or to boost protein intake when combined with a suitable meal. Ordered during December 2025 when it was priced at £27.99 for a pack of 12. Currently in January 2026 it is the same price but a discount code is available to knock ten percent off. I do think it is expensive for what it is.
