Sproutable! Yay!
I discovered that I can sprout these in my Instapot just like mung beans.Use the yogurt setting - I did 12 hours (overnight) after soaking them (use hot water initially) for about 8 hours or so.They're great on salads!

I had to check to see if the color faded when soaked
Omg! The black did fade and now it looks like regular green mung beans. I’m never ordering this black beans ever again.

Soaking it over night changed color. So basically it’s not urad dhal at all.

This product is OLD. The bag ia all damaged and looks like it is ten years old and laying in some garbage can. Went to Exchange or remedy this problem. NO OPTIONS DO NOT BUY
