PowerSmart Self Propelled Gas Lawn Mower 22-Inch with 170cc OHV Engine, RWD Single-Speed 3-in-1 with Bagging DB8622S

This is a beautiful lawnmower, lighter weight, easy to handle with an old-fashioned, strong Briggs and Stratton engine! I think I am in love. Height adjustment, speed, cut quality.

The mower arrived quickly and it had everything it was supposed to have. I noticed while putting it into operation the plastic nuts on the handle holding it together could not be made more cheaply. Super thing plastic and clearly not up to the snuff of long term viability.3/4ths of the way through my backyard, maybe half an acre in size, one of the red "nuts" fell off and the handle separated. I could not find the "nut" in the yard after looking for ten minutes and walking all around. I will just insert a real bolt and nut with a locking washing. The mower company saved a penny or two not including locking washers and using plastic "nuts."The good. The mower started on first pull. The mower had plenty of hp to power through the yard on its first mowing of the year. The speed of the self-propelled was quick. I could barely stay with it due to my back problems. the mower was great, outside the heavy reliance upon substandard plastic components that will not hold up. I will replace all the plastic pieces of junk with metal components.Customer service has been very responsive and I cannot complain about that. They have gone above and beyond to make my mower right, but I already solved the problem with a bolt and nut on my own. I will say this, their customer service has been quick, but the mower is the cheapest and least durable item I may have ever purchased in my life.New update. The mower was used for a second time. The handle stayed together with my replacement bolts, but one of the bolts holding on a rear tire broke in half and the wheel is now canted sideways. Never in my life have I seen such cheap materials. Please do not buy this mower. It is made from the cheapest materials you can get and it will not last. The mower is junk.

Love that the thing comes basically fully assembled, had to pop the wheels on of course and stick the arm into the sockets (the part you actually hold while pushing) instructions are seriously simple a child could do it (provided you let them play with Legos occasionally) my fam has used this since the beginning of the summer for '24 and it's worked like a charm, it's a good amount of horse power and surprisingly easy to maneuver with the back wheel drive (feels a little funny the first time using it because it almost speeds away from you but it's really not too much to control, myself being taller it goes smoothly with my pacing and my dad being closer to average height neither of us had issues) not to mention it's a solid red colour and the appearance is about what you'd expect for a good quality mower. I anticipate getting at least 15 years out of the thing with being kept indoors when not in use (garage space or shed) would recommend if you aren't interested in getting an electric mower this one will def get the job done.

Mower is great, but the self propelled part is too fast.It wants to drag me along and the wheels don't grip the ground.

Far exceeded expectations. Put oil in, new gas and started on first pull. Very powerful engine, cut through overgrown wet grass with no issue. Light and maneuverable. Had a Honda mower for years, I am extremely happy with this as a replacement.

I received this well packaged lawn mower via FedEx a couple of days ago. Just tried it out today and finished before the rains came. Again, well packaged, all accessories were there, oil, funnel etc. It was basically put together for you and ready to go right out the box. Te self propelled action may take a minute or two to get used to because it has some major kick to it. But look on the bright side, you will get all your steps in (Lol). Started on the first pull, provided a very even cut, and I like that you only have to adjust one side on the wheels. The only drawback I found was the hand cushion ripped on both sides, and after only one cut the underside of the deck shows some discoloration already. This minor thing will give me and opportunity to checkout their customer service.All in all so far I really like this light weight mower. Hopefully I’ll have it for a long time to come. Today I cut the lawn and got my workout, can’t beat that!Follow-up: Customer ServiceThe customer service for this item is non existent. They don’t return ANY CALLS, and although you may initially be told you are a certain number in line, whenever it comes to your number you are then forwarded only to have to leave a message. I’ve left messages in every department allowable, and none of the departments have returned a call. I’ve called early in the morning, afternoon, you can pick a day…I’ve called to no avail.I’ve now used the mower approximately 5 times now, and the mower itself works fine; however, the cosmetics of the mower are what’s suffering. The paint has already started chipping, and customer service is nowhere to be found. If I had to rate only the customer service, they would get ZERO stars.

Quick delivery and easy assembly. 15 minutes to put it together, added oil and started on the first pull. Note: the cable clamps are loose in the bottom of the box; I initially thought I did not receive them, but when I was breaking down the box, I found both of them. Cuts very well and the self propulsion makes mowing so much easier! There is a height adjustment which is easy to maneuver. Outstanding product; highly recommended!
