Super thick and heavy duty. I could tell the second I pulled it out of the box that it would t work. They made the top hook WAY too small. It only has a 1” opening, and my closet that has wooden closet rails are slightly bigger. This could have been easily accounted for in the design. I’m bummed.

For the most part, this is a great product. It supports the weight of different types of vests, and the reverse handle works great for transport. My only complaint is the hanger diameter is a bit smaller than a normal hanger. It won't fit on any rod in any of the closets in our house.

Using this to hold a full level 4 carrier and plate setup with 3 rifle mags, 3 pistol mags, a complete ALS ifak, 2liter water bladder, and misc items. It holds very well, fits on a standard hanger rod. If you use it to hang on a rod that is not secured to a wall it will pull the rod down. The carry handle is great works very well. Highly recommend for intended use to carry/hang body armor

As advertised. Sturdy hanger for your tactical vest. I’ve broken a few standard hangers and give through the pain of trying to use sturdy wooden hangers for hanging my tactical vest. I’m glad I tripped over these hangers as they do the job they say they will do. Saving you lots of frustration!

The tough hook hanger sent was different from the one in the picture.It was the version with a more rounded top. Since it was a gift I didn’t have time to return it. It was for a someone to use for a external ballistic vest and should fulfill the task.I am disappointed whenever I receive something different from pictured item.I intentionally chose the pictured design over the one I received.

I purchased this for hanging a Aqualung XL BCD for scuba diving and it is a perfect fit. I order another for my wife's who is a woman's size L which was also a good fit. One of the things I like is the reversible handle/hook so you can hang or tote your BCD to location and then hang it when you get back to your accommodations.Well made and tough I can imagine this would hold up to years of wear and support just about any rig you could throw at it from scuba to tactical.

Is exactly what you want to hang a heavy item. Unfortunately, I ordered two and one of them came pretty beat up. I just sanded it a little after cutting off the piece that was hanging off. Would have been a five star other than that.

As other reviewers have stated it appears someone is having trouble identifying the black color hanger. I too received a green one instead. As for the hanger it is quite impressive. I love how sturdy and how well it is able to hold my kevlar vest. The handle to carry it was also a great idea. My only complaint is getting the wrong color.

Currently using this to hold my plate carrier. 50-60ish pounds worth of plates and gears.No problem so far, the hook is sturdy enough to hold all that weight.The only thing i had to do was reinforce the pole in the closet where i hang my rig. You may want to do the same to prevent everything from crashing down. If it does crash, it wont be because of that hook that's for sure.

This hanger is a BEAST!It is more than what I was expecting, but I now see why it's rated to a 150lbs.Well built and finished. No flashing or sharp edges at all.Money well spent and now I have a proper way to hang my training vest.

Hook is pretty aggressive/steep and doesn’t fit on every closet hook. Particularly Rubbermaid with wire shelf top. I had to grind off part of the tip and re-contour it to use it.
