Quality and Contents
Seems to work well... The carbon filter is on the side facing the back of the unit. On the front side, there is the normal thin black fabric material that acts as a lint, hair, and dust first stage filter. It came with two (2) extra first stage filters. Greatly appreciated. I did not notice any reduction in air flow due to the carbon filter. The fit was perfect, no binding or loose fitting. Worth the price I believe. Good luck.

These filters seem to work as well as the Alen filters, at a fraction of the cost.I try to buy U.S., and I try to buy local. But these filters are simply a bargain.On the bright (patriotic) side, the Alen unit was highly rated when we purchased it, and it lives up to expectations. We live on the edge of 300 acres of forrest and farm land, with pollen and dust galore. The filtration unit, with either Alen filters or these filters, improves the quality of our air in our home significantly.

Great filter for the price
These are a great alternative to the high end ones. I use air purifiers all over my home and simply can’t afford to replace with the name brand filters. These look the exact same and work great. Less dust and pet dander. I have breathing difficulties at times and these help.

Functionality
I vacuum the front cover of the filter every 2 months to extend the life. We have pets; these are absolutely necessary to keep the air quality up in our house.

Perfect replacement unit
Perfect fit, pops right in. With the extra pre-filters I was able to just change that & will replace the main filter the next time my filter light turns red.

Just as good as the name brand, but affordable!
The filter is not being recognized as an Alen Filter, hence, the 'change filter light' is not going off. Kind of like a printer that's picky about the ink. However, I know that it's working just as well as the Alen brand, so I've saved over $30, and I'm a happy customer!
