I bought this lamp to provide exterior light for a patio area and to also act as a security feature for my back garden. It does both jobs brilliantly and I’m very pleased with it. Due to my garden orientation I wasn’t able to position the solar panel in an optimum location, so it only gets full sunlight for about half a day. Despite this it charges the battery and works perfectly. The light is more than adequate and lights up my entire patio. The device is a bit on the expensive side, but has proved well worth the money. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Although I haven't actually fitted this light up outside yet, I have used the security light in the garden at night. I am very impressed with the brightness of the light and especially the coverage area. I am looking forward to permanently fitting the light and the large solar panel in their designated places, soon. All of the main parts are of a good sturdy construction and the fixings are very strong, also. I spent a long time researching the various solar security lights with pir, before opting for this one. I think that I made a very wise choice.

I've had these (I bought 2) for a few months and they have been fantastic. The fact that they come with a second sensor is what made me buy them. The second sensor works where the main sensor can't see i.e. approaching the corner of the building, or can be positioned facing a door whilst the main sensor is directed at another door. They have been battle tested with grey winter days and storms and are still working perfectly. The panels pick up enough sunlight through grey days to stay working throughout the night on motion detection. No idea how long they can last on staying lit all the time though as they're only used for security and porch lighting. If there is a complaint, it is that the plastic bracket isn't made of a strong enough plastic. When I was screwing it into wood I had the torque set too high which cracked the plastic - it's hanging on okay with the second screw but it is a bit fragile for the price. The light can be angled up and down and has good range, lighting an area up with no problems. I have another cheaper solar light on a stairway which doesn't give out half as much light as these and is more temperamental to storing solar energy on heavily grey days.

In this day and age unfortunately a lot of people are in the mindset of securing their home with solar lights and alarms, it’s a sad fact, but true all the same. We have two CCTV and have solar lights all the way around my property. My last one has given up the ghost, so in comes this solar light with remote. The seller of this solar powered light has thought of everything, this is so advantageous and very upgraded on my last one. Far more superior and the things it can do are really good. I was concerned initially about the light over taking my neighbours, the light is so bright, but do not worry that is where the remote control comes in to dim as necessary. I live in a basic street and road, so although need security, I did ask my neighbours if the brightness was ok, the last thing was upset neighbours. We live in a semi, so not a big mansion type property with a huge garden, ours is a modest home looking onto a road. It does get very dark after the lights are turned off by the powers that be, and quite spooky to be honest. We have a lot of dog walkers who tend to walk dogs around midnight as been working or for whatever reason need a torch to see. I have actually been thanked by people, random people I do not know, saying the light has helped them. So all good. Took a while to understand what does what, so as this is techy stuff which I hate, I took my time. In fact in between house work kept coming back to do a bit more. The lamp is charged by the sun, but even on cloudy days still charges. It is best to charge the battery fully before using and so far but early days, it is holding quite well. There is a lot of technology on what this does, and quite in-depth, which doesn’t mean it is hard, it’s just you need to set to what you want. This solar light is indeed very strong, slightly a heavier feel to my last one and bigger Very good and strong fixings. Can be fixed to trees a wall or anywhere where the bracket can be attached too. Ho acquistato questo faro solare e ne sono davvero soddisfatto. La potenza luminosa è notevole e illumina perfettamente anche spazi piuttosto ampi. La struttura è solida e sembra pensata per durare nel tempo. Molto utile la possibilità di impostare diverse modalità tramite il telecomando, così come il sensore remoto da posizionare a distanza: una comodità in più che fa davvero la differenza nell’utilizzo quotidiano. Un aspetto da tenere presente è che durante l’inverno, avendo meno ore di luce, la ricarica è più limitata e di conseguenza l’autonomia del faro si riduce. Nulla di sorprendente per un prodotto solare, ma è bene saperlo. Nel complesso è un ottimo faro solare, potente, versatile e funzionale. Consigliato!

Cercavo un faretto abbastanza luminoso per la zona piscina. Onestamente non avevo voglia di tirare dei cavi per montare un faretto 230v e ho deciso di provarne uno solare. Ho scelto questo perché sembrava migliore rispetto a quelli più economici. In effetti è realizzato molto bene, il pannello e il faretto sono solidi e di buona fattura. La scatola è ricca di accessori: oltre al faretto e al pannello, ci sono varie fascette molto grandi, un kit di minuteria con un cacciavite vero e non quelle robe usa e getta che si trovano solitamente, il sensore wireless di presenza, il telecomando con le pile. Io per montarlo ho usato il palo della tenda a vela, ma nella scatola ci sono anche due tasselli a da muro in acciaio. Comunque in 10 minuti l’ho montato, nessun problema. Personalmente l’ho impostato con funzione sensore + spegnimento dopo 30 secondi, ma volendo ha varie modalità di funzionamento (impostabili solo dal telecomando, quindi non perdetelo!!) … INFO: per impostare il funzionamento, nelle istruzioni non è molto intuitivo ma bisogna mettere il faretto su ON con il telecomando, è solo dopo che si è acceso bisogna impostare la modalità che ci interessa premendo in sequenza i tasti sul telecomando (esempio: riquadro SENSOR per usarlo con il sensore PIR, premere quindi la durata di accensione e poi il comportamento una volta passato il tempo - DIM per abbassare la luce o OFF per spegnerlo). Il sensore coordinato è molto furbo e funziona anche lui con il pannello solare integrato, si collega fino a 10 metri in wireless premendo il tasto sul sensore una volta collegato il tutto. Permette di azionare il faretto da un punto distante, ad esempio se avete un angolo, potete mettere il sensore dietro l’angolo così da accendere al passaggio sia sotto al faretto (con il sensore integrato) che dietro l’angolo con il sensore wireless. Non banale per un prodotto di questa fascia di prezzo. La luce è ottima, bianco neutro. Personalmente preferisco la luce calda a 3000K ma questa non è la classica luce bianca da ospedale, è una luce bianca neutra che sarà sui 4500K reali. Non fastidiosa. Non ho modo di misurare se i 3000lux siano reali, tuttavia posso dire che illumina molto bene alla potenza massima. Sicuramente ne comprerò un secondo da abbinare, visto che possono essere collegati insieme per comandarne più di uno con un sensore. Vedremo la durata. Per ora non posso che essere soddisfatto dell’acquisto.

Al momento buon faretto. Spero che la qualità sia confermata nel tempo. Confezione completa con tutto quello che serve per un montaggio basico. Comodo il pannello staccato con attacco da 5,5x2,1 mm che permette l'uso di una prolunga al bisogno. Avrei dato 5 stelle se il faretto fosse predisposto con una presa USB per ricaricare in caso di giornate senza sole o d'inverno. Mi sembra impossibile che nel 2025 non sia predisposto per tale evenienza. E pensare che delle luci da giardino da 15 euro ne sono provviste. La batteria sembra essere effettivamente capiente e la luce rimane per tutta la notte senza problemi. Prezzo un pò sopra la media ma al momento sembra valerli
