Done the job protected my boots

Arrived quickly, but we're just thrown in a small plastic grip-lock bag. Not that I want a load of unnecessary packaging, but with spikes on, these could do with a bit of protection. The items themselves though are exactly as expected; just sorry the inside of the shoe/boot, hammer them in and off you go. Used them yesterday and they all stayed in. Warning, though, if you haven't used these before, you do lose a little grip so don't go out in wet or icy weather with footwear that have these (not just these particular ones - any heel protectors) as you may slip and slide. All that being said, I should now get a few more years out of my beloved old boots ☺️

For leather heels they are perfect. However for heels made from plastic/rubber type materials, the points are not sharp enough to pierce without the use of quite heavy hammering which then could risk damaging the rest of the shoe.

sizing is an issue, suggest a chart or table to show which item is best for which shoe size etc. Issue to fit with only a knackered old hammer and a lump of wood

Seen some poor reviews but from people who just push them on.You need to cut your shoe heel to fit the seg snuggly and level with the surface of the heel.If you cant do it get your cobbler to fit them. Do it propperly and your heels last and last.

Very pleased with these took me back to my teen years when I used to seg my boots just to see who could make the most sparks fly off there boots as you scraped them across the ground. But now I use them how they should be used, to prolong the life of you foot ware.
