Hard to control but IT WORKS!
I like how this adds volume and texture to thin hair. It does AMAZING at this and it's a good value because you just need a puff or so...squeeze the bottle to get it out. You use just a touch so it lasts a long time. My only minor fault is that it can be a challenge to direct the puff where you want it. No worries though, just fluff it through your hair and it's all good!

Good Product, Damaged Bottle
Great Product with a great hold, but the bottle had a huge cut that was covered up with the label, I then weighed it and it lost half an ounce. Would not have paid as much as I did for less then a one ounce bottle.

Unique squeeze bottle, provides good lightweight volume for thin hair
When I received this package, it felt like the bottle was empty - it's extremely light weight and feels like there’s nothing in it. I removed the lid to check and it's about 2/3 full of a gray powder that is extremely lightweight - I guess this bodes well since it won't weigh your hair down! The instructions say to "Shake well before use. Spray product lightly on the root and shaft of hair to provide texture, volume and remove shine. Use comb and fingers for desired style." So, I tried pressing the button on top, but it wouldn’t move. I realized I had to rotate the cap to expose the nozzle. I tried pressing the lid again, still nothing. That was when I discovered that you actually squeeze the bottle to make it "spray". Actually, it is more like a puff of smoke. With more use, I've found that I need to twist the lid closed each time I use it so that I can shake it really good before squeezing it out onto my hair. I do think it provides a nice bit of lift in my hair and I like that it’s a neutral, gray colored powder. It is also extremely lightweight and doesn't leave my hair feel sticky or unmanageable. As with any aerosol, I’m careful to quickly move away so I don't breathe in the aerosolized powder. This product reminds me of dry shampoo that you sprinkle into your hair. It works well once you figure out how to use the packaging.

Natural Ingredients - Amazing Stuff!
I've been seeing ads for a product similar to this, so when I saw this on Vine, I was excited to try it out. First off, the ingredients are all-natural, which is an absolute must for me.Ingredients: Silica, Arrowroot powder, Kaolin clay, Avocado powder, Aloe Vera powder, Activated CharcoalThe works very well on fine hair. My husband and daughter both have baby fine hair that tends to lie flat against their head, and this helps tremendously with the body. I used it on my thicker, curly hair, and it didn't do much, but my layers are long and really, I don't need it.It's great for texturizing otherwise untextured hair, and I love the natural ingredients. It's definitely worth trying out!

There's a learning curve for applying it
I didn't realize it when I ordered it, but looks like Samson's Haircare Volumizing Matte Powder is geared towards men. The container is extremely lightweight, something I have experienced with other dry shampoos so that was not unexpected. My recommendation is to try it out before wearing for a special occasion because the application process takes some getting used to. It says to shake well before using. Be careful, because the first time I shook it then turned its lid to open it, a puff of product came out unexpectedly at me. Would not be good if someone inhaled this.Although its lid looks like you can press it down, you can't. I tried multiple ways of applying. Although I tried squeezing the container, the amount that came out was inconsistent. What worked best for me was just gently shaking it without squeezing the container. That way, just a small amount would come out and at least I could control the amount used. Directions how to apply would have been helpful, or maybe a different type of container would make it easier to use.I didn't smell any scent so think its unscented, which is consistent with other products made for men. Its price is similar to other premium hair products. Great that it is made in the USA.

It was great when I was busy in the morning
When I first used it, it was hard to control, but it's really nice to adjust. It's a great idea when I don't have time to shampoo in the morning.

Needs better container instructions! Squeeze the bottle not the lid to use! Only 1/2 filled! Messy!
I have been looking for something similar to the "SAMSON'S HAIRCARE Volumizing Matte Powder, Natural Texture Enchancer and Oil Control, Easy to use, Water Soluble, Safe Ingredients, Convenient, 1.4 oz." for a while so I was surprised to find I'm not impressed. The bottle is supposed to be 1.4oz but it felt extremely light, so I weighed it (powder and the bottle) and found it was only 1.3 oz and I imagine most of that weight is the bottle itself. I opened the top and found it to be about half full of a gray, extremely fine and poufy powder. The bottle arrived in a clear bag, and they apparently tried to seal the top with some type of sticky product because there was a large patch of it stuck to the top. I shook the bottle per the directions and had powder poofing out all over. Then I lost more powder trying to spray it only to learn you squeeze the bottle and not the top like you do with most spray products. Unfortunately, I made such a mess that I didn't attempt to use it for another couple days. The second time it started out better and although I still had powder floating around it wasn't as bad. Unfortunately, I didn't find it to do much for my heavy, thick hair. But I felt like I had a film all over on my skin and it was not a clean feeling. The bottle needs more instructions on using the container, it's way too expensive to have so much wasted when trying to figure out how to use it. Especially when you get such a small amount to begin with. Better yet, a different container altogether as that seems to be the biggest issue. I can appreciate it may be a good product if one is able to apply it better. I don't know if I'll give this product a third try or not.
