Minibot grows up
Years ago, the first transformer my parents bought me was Gears in his minibot form. As such I have a lot of time for the character that the Transformers brand hasn't really shown. This is a smashing modern representation with a lot of poseability and a nice transformation. I like it a lot.

e Cyberverse-inspired colors really pop, and the paintwork is clean and eye-catching. Transformation is smooth and satisfying without being overly complicated, and she’s fully articulated for great poses. The shuriken accessories are clever as wheel hubcaps in vehicle mode, though they can be a bit awkward in hand. Overall, a solid and fun figure that both collectors and casual fans will enjoy.
