Fabulous product, fabulous customer service!
Great product! I've switched to using these powders in order to use natural make up, lip gloss etc. The bronze is a great color, it's a perfect mid tone with a nice sheen and gold undertone - ideal for my face and lip gloss (although I also bought other colors for blending). Very little goes a long way! I add a tiny amount to my moisturizer and it evens out and tones my skin beautifully. Bronze is a perfect color for giving the face, arms or legs a nice tan look too - and so much cheaper than regular make up products. I have to say - I thought - that there was an error with my order (which actually turned out to be my own error) but Slice Of The Moon were completely fabulous - first in helping me out in any way they could and secondly in being totally gracious when I told them it was actually my mistake after all! Between the quality of the product and the integrity of the company... I couldn't be a happier customer. I will buy more and have already recommended these to friends.

Makes the BEST bronzing oil!
I purchased this to make a bronzing oil and I LOVE it! This is my first time to purchase a mica/cosmetic powder, so I wasn't really sure what to expect, but it's great. I added about 1 tsp of the powder to 4 oz of sweet almond oil along with 10 drops of essential oils. My legs are white (i'm fair skinned), but with this bronzing oil it gives them the perfect amount of natural color - no more ghostly pale legs! It can of course be used on the rest of your body, but I mostly use it for my legs. This powder is slightly shimmery, just the right amount of shimmer. I may try making some eyeshadow with it next!

Beautiful and versatile color. Goes a long way! Lots left over.
Beautiful and versatile color. Used for body oil and lip balm. Everyone loved it! Goes a lot farther than I thought, and just the right amount of subtle sheen. Lots left over to make all kinds of other things.

pretty bronze metallic mica powder for mineral makeup
After being frustrated with the high costs of my favorite mineral makeup, I decided to try making my own using a recipe I found on Wellness Mama's blog site. This was the product the author recommended (in addition to others). It comes in a small jar, but you only use a little at a time (1-2 teaspoons depending on the size of your batch), so I expect it will last several months for my purposes. The color is a dark bronze (brown) and is a bit sparkly. The glitter/sparkles are not very noticeable and it just provides a nice shimmery effect--nothing too bold. This was my first time making mineral makeup, and although I am still playing around with the color levels for my skin tone, I was very pleased with the results and will definitely be making more in the future.

Mixes well with oil
I used this to make a bronzer body oil. I personally should have gotten the super sparkly one because this one is very subtle shimmer. I knew that from the reviews, so that’s not a bad thing. I think once I mixed it, I was wanting a lot more sparkle and that’s why I say that. I added coconut oil, the powder, and essential oils to achieve the product I wanted. I would buy again!

great addition to my spray tan service
I read that if I added this to regular baby powder it makes a nice tanned drying powder for after care when spray tanning. Its not nice to leave sticky, and the clients can apply this through a barbers pump to limit contamination. great product.
