My 7 year old daughter read this lovely book. Been trying to get her to read. This book totally engaged her. She loved the illustrations in the book. She couldn't put it down. Not a lot of difficulty words. She laughed a lot. Definitely buying the next one, especially now that she's enjoying reading.

Epic book
It's cool and awesome but I think a bit more humour in lightning girl 2 would make 4 turn to 5

Brilliant imaginative captivating book
Brilliant book my 10 year old can’t put it down. Thank goodness for a new author aiming at the pre teens that’s not all wizards and dragons. Eagerly await another book please Alisha !

Excellent
Very good first novel about super powers Hope Alesha does some more stories in the future. There was a shock and a surprise towards the last bit of the story. Worth recommending.

O like this book because it's sort of a mystery on who is the villain and it sort of surprised me a bit although it all makes sense in the end=)=)
