Makes good 5.1 surround
Works good does exactly what I needed to do

Terrible. Disk useless, software is clunky and messes up your audio settings.
First of all, when I plugged it in, it was a slight improvement over a stereo configuration when using the 3 jacks for 5.1 surround. That being said, the balance was still off, so I downloaded and installed the software to fix that. This was my biggest mistake - all of my output devices disappeared (as in the screenshot), and, as the software took control of the USB sound card, it messed up the default settings so that the balance was even further off (Center and Right channels wayy louder than the others). Unable to fix this in the clunky software - It wasn't letting me change it to the 5.1 config - I decided to uninstall it. One restart later, and all of my Output devices were still gone, the balance for the device was still off, and I wanted to chuck it out of the window. It took me hours to restore my output devices, but I cannot figure out the balance. Support was not able to provide me with an alternate software, so I plan on writing one myself since I saw the potential in the hardware at unboxing. TL;DR: The software is a nightmare, don't install it. Works fine out of the box for the 3-port 5.1 surround. One star because of the hours I wasted attempting to fix what the software did to my PC.

This works great although it has poor documentation and a poor website.
I love this! It took a bit to install because the documentation is difficult to understand. I tried the website first but could not get it to work. Ultimately I used the included disk and got the drivers and software to work. Also the attachment of my multi-channel powered speakers was unclear so I matched colors … which did Not work. The line (green) is an input not an output and if used inhibits any output. I got it right by matching signal names - then used the software to select 7.1 and it all works GREAT! I love it!

Not Good, Software is For Win7... Too OLD!
I wrote them, and they just have the Win7 software and drivers. There is not webpage to support this product anymore... So buy it on your own risk.
