I’m not about to tell you whether you need or should take salts for your health, this is a very individual thing & you should do your own research as to whether you need them or should take them. People who are involved in strenuous exercise regimes that make them lose fluid through sweating & use salts to help maintain hydration. There are other uses which the product description explains. As salts can be problematic for some people if you aren’t sure consult your doctor first. The tub is big at 450g so should go a long way. There’s a small scoop included which measures out 6 grams that’s equivalent to a heaped ½ teaspoon if you misplace it. The taste is mild & easy to swallow in a glass of water as recommended. It’s up to you when you take this, some recommend at bedtime if taken for reasons other than exercise, otherwise around your routine away from meals. I wanted Andrew's liver salts, now discontinued and was offered this alternative instead. Easy to take and so far too early to tell if they are worth it.

This stuff is amazing! It really does good for the body. The taste isn’t great but you soon get used to it drinking it 3 times a day.
