These solar spikes are the best. They are always "on", even through the night. Do they deter the moles? Not certain. Mine have been annoying them for over a month and the moles have not yet moved on!

Out of six that I placed around my house in less than a month only one is still working, a total waste money!

Got rid of my mole problem immediately. The buzzing takes a bit getting use to but not unbearable. Wish i had found this before the pests destroyed $$$ of plants.

I have had voles that were a problem. Haven't had a problem since using these for the last 2 mos! Not all of the units work but enough do that it seems to do the job. I ordered a second set. Keeping fingers crossed.

I always considered these type things gimmicky. That said, I live close to construction right now that vibrations do have an affect on moles. 2 years of road building, ground leveling and construction with lots of compacting using portable and large steamrollers to compact soil does stop mole damage in my yard without any doubt. For a while. However when they move to another area the moles migrate back to this side of the road. This is visible over time down a square mile of land and construction, not just my yard. Those vibrations can be felt personally 100 feet away from the work area though.Flip the switch and place these units. I've always been skeptical about the distances claimed. I still am. I've had moles build mounds and tunnels within 5-6 feet of a unit more than once so far. Honestly they have lessened the squirrel traffic in my yard. That could be the audible beep every so often idk. It is not as loud as to be bothersome as some reviewers seem to have issue with. The squirrels for me are sometimes annoying but not as damaging as moles. After a week or so of these, I'm not convinced. They are another tool just not seeing verifiable proof of being a good value for the task. I also spray tunnels and mounds with a castor oil solution and have a push down old fashioned mole/gopher trap that got one within 12 hours. Those are dependent on visibly being able to see a tunnel though so are also just another tool. Both the spray and the old school metal trap are visibly helping which these ultrasonic spikes are not as far as I can tell.

No more burrow holes in plot now that these are installed.

I was skeptical about these at first. These have chased moles, voles and chipmunks from under the mulch and the flower roots. They had made their home under many plants leaving the roots in the air.

I watched the gophers and rabbits stand right next to them and eat away at my plants while the units were going off. Ugh
