got this today and had to spend a while before it would work but is now working had a connection issue at first (usb 3.0)this runs at 51.6mbps for me i am using bt hub 6 ( install via usb 2.0 then switch to usb 3.0 was my fix ) the plug in ethernet tp link run at 51.7 mbps (i got 51.7 using usb3.0 )both connecting from the basement back room the router is on the ground floor in the frontof the house so range ok hereearly days but hopefully signal will be stablehave spent £100.00 + on tp links then bt brand and have lost a few due to electrical storms and trip outs so this is cheaper than replacing the burnt out ones

I bought this when my laptop suddenly had issues connecting to the internet and nobody could find out what was wrong. I became suspicious that the WIFI antennas in my laptop had stopped working properly and this seemed like a cheap way of testing my theory.It worked perfectly. Plugged in the adaptor and my laptop now connects with no issues.

This antenna works brilliantly, it's huge and fills you with confidence and now I am happy to report my wifi speed is the same as when plugged into ethernet port on router when setting my router to 5ghz 11ac only. the only thing the seller could do better is to give us a download link to drivers as most people don't have cd drives now. I had to put the cd into an old laptop, manually copy the driver folder onto a usb stick and install on my desktop that way.

My PC was unable to pick up about half-strong wifi signal in my room. My tablet and smartphone worked well. After plugging this in on Windows 10, no installation needed. It worked out of the box in few seconds, you just have to chose in Windows drop down menu that pops up if you want to use your motherboard wifi chip or this external. Now I can pick up wi-fi signals from other places around that even my mobile devices were not detecting. Also played some games online with very good results. Internet works fast again, like being connected through an ethernet cable.

Great wifi dongle. Windows 10 inmediately detects and install drivers automatically so it works straight out of the box. I got it to work in Ubuntu but you need to download customised drivers for it

I was previously using a 600Mbps which I thought was good. Like most people always looking for greater speed and this provides it. I use it in my office which is two floors away from the router and download speed test comparison are: without anything download speed 35Mbps, with a 600 45Mbps and with this adapter 79Mbps. So a massive improvement. Plus, very easy to set up, taking around 3 minutes.

Bought as a present.Using their pc as a wifi extender. By all accounts works very well.
