Excellent for a small speaker. I use it to have better sound from my laptop. However I wouldn’t use it to listen to music as my larger speaker is better for it.

The media could not be loaded. Unboxing this was a delight. Beautifully presented in a black and lilac case, the black hockey puck really does look on point.Easy to pair with your phone or you can play music files ((MP3, WAV and WMA) from a micro SD card inserted into the handy micro SD slot (up to 32GB supported). There's also Aux input for any line out device but you won't be able to control songplay via this input.It's only a 5W (4 ohm) speaker but it pumps out the music although it does depend on which surface you place it because the speaker is at the bottom of the unit so if you place it on material that absorbs sound it will sound quieter. For the video I placed it on a glass desk and then moved it to a wooden windowsill to give you an idea of the difference (unfortunately a message came in to my phone just as I placed it on the sill).The speaker can be used for calls as it has a built in microphone. I made a quick call (placing the phone about 2m from me to avoid the phone's speaker picking up too much of my audio) to test the call capability of the speaker and both my audio (for the recipient) and their audio was clear.I think for £20.99 (price at time of review) this is a great buy and I have no problems recommending it.

With such a small speaker, its understandable why the SoundAngle A8 has a downward facing speaker, in order to maximise the Base from the small 3 watt speaker, but I find that this is at the expense of the sound quality as a whole, and therefore its a very nice looking well constructed, average speaker.Bluetooth connectivity is extremely fast, as demonstrated in the attached video clip, and volume can then be controlled via the touch sensitive buttons on the speaker, or via your connected device.A bonus feature that I found, quite by mistake, the speaker volume up and down keys can also be used as a remote shutter release for the iPhone camera, no idea what's going on there.Overall, as a portable speaker for some background music, I really don't see any issue here, it does the job, is claimed to be waterproof, so should have no issue outside in light rain, and comes with 3 years warranty, but if this is going to be a main speaker, that you use to listen to your music, then I think you may well be disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. This "XLEADER Sound Angel A8" portable bluetooth speaker is a thing of beauty ... I love it! The build quality is excellent, it has a reassuring weight about it and I really like the minimalist design and the matt black finish. There is a touch sensitive LED control panel on the top with a pause/play switch in the middle and track advance/track back either side and volume up/down at the top and bottom. It looks pretty cool and presents very much as a "premium product". It comes in a rather nice cardboard box which which would be great for gifting and easy to wrap.It connected first time with my phone and maintained a stable connection even when I wandered into the kitchen with my phone. The sound quality is pretty decent for such a small device and delivers a surprisingly powerful output without distortion. The bass is perfectly acceptable and it has a clear treble and a crisp top end. You can improve the output by standing it on a wooden table or something else that would help resonate the sound waves. It is USB-C chargeable and comes with a charging cable and a 3.5mm auxiliary cable for if you want to use a wired connection to your phone. There is also a micro SD card slot so you can listen to your music without needing your phone.I am quite enamored by this little beauty of a speaker. It's small enough to be easily slipped into a coat pocket for on the go and delivers a damn fine sound for such a small device. I love it! Big 5 stars from me!

This is a nice little, compact, portable bluetooth speaker. I really like it because it can easily be carried around anywhere and it also comes in a gift box so you can give it as a gift to anyone. The sound clarity is good on it and doesn't distort even when it's loud.The range of it is quite good too, but it can't go too far. It's a good piece of equipment to travel with, but it's not top of the range just so you know hence the price of £18.99 and not something expensive.
