This item is excellent quality for just under $6. I never knew this was something that existed, even though I grew up in the 70’s. I know how to care for records and clean them, but I never knew anyone who owned something like this. I wonder if it’s a new invention. I snapped it up to review because my best friend owns a record player and he was super happy to get this as a gift. He noticed the quality right away. This polyester felt mat helps prevent static build up, improves the sound of the record, reduces vibration and friction to protect your vinyl album. It’s a foot in diameter and 3mm thick.

Personally, felt mats aren't really my thing. I'm more of a rubber/cork/acrylic guy, but I like to keep a variety around, and this is a definite upgrade to the felt mats included with a lot of budget players. Very dense felt and classy looking. A steal at $5.99. If you WANT slippage between your record and your platter, felt is the way to go and this one is quite nice. These do collect dust though, watch out for that. Nice product overall.

Estéticamente el material está genial. La impresión está muy bien hecha y el mat tiene buen grosor.Para temas de audio creo que prefiero un mat de acrilico. Ya que con el de fieltro se siente mas opaco el sonido. Pero cumple con su función y no genera estática como para adherirse a los vinilos.
