Quality oil at a reasonable price

I was a pioneer user of the first Castrol Syntec that used to come only as 5W-50 until some years ago I let an article talk me into not doing the extra expense of synthetic oil for my vehicles, it read that the problem with all types of oil was the additives breaking down, the same for mineral as synthetics. Well, I respect the experts, but for whatever reason the difference is so noticeable that I am not going back ever to minerals. This particular weight seems to work extraordinarily with all engines, from 4 to 8 cylinders. They love it and respond with a smooth start and run, and just as when I used it before, the engine from the oil cap to whatever you uncover is clean, so far not a trace of wear out (like oil consumption) and that makes me very happy. So I am not an expert, just a convinced customer that this oil is worth every extra penny and more.

What's to say, the auto stores don't carry 5/50 and that is what my car needs. So far I have ordered this same oil 4 or 5 times and have always gotten all 6 quarts. 5 stars :-)

Using this in my Polaris Ranger 900 for years. Cheaper than Polaris OEM oil and I know for sure what I am getting.

Good. Got for my S/C Gt500.

I use this in my now-old 2012 GT500. It's the only oil the car has ever had in its most intimate parts, except, of course, on delivery, summer 2011 wherein Motocraft oil of the same type was in the crankcase. This car is so reliable, and I drive it so seldom, that that the mileage interval comes at one year. 11 years (this summer) and 36,000 miles. Do the math. How could I gripe about this oil? It IS expensive, though. But I trust Castol and I think this price is very reasonable.
