This is a great little bottle for hiking and travel. It is the perfect size for holding while walking, and it fits in a bottle holder on a backpack. It folds up compactly and easily, and stays that way with the included strap. It seems really durable and well-designed. I used it on a recent hike in conjunction with a Camelback to carry an extra 20 oz of water and to be able to add an electrolyte packet separate from my main water supply and it was perfect. When it arrived I washed, rinsed, and dried it well before the first use and did not notice any smell or flavor in/on the bottle.

The BEAUTAIL Collapsible Water Bottles (20.6 oz, 2-pack) are really convenient, especially for travel. I like that one bottle comes with a twist-off top and the other has a straw, giving you options depending on how you want to drink. They collapse down very small, which makes them easy to pack in a bag or suitcase without taking up much space. The only downside is that they do have a slight plastic taste at first, so they definitely need to be washed well before using. Overall, they’re a great space-saving option for travel with just a little extra prep needed.

I’m not sure what I think of these. One came sealed in a box and was clearly new. The other was in a bog. It was not sealed at all. I decided to keep them because the one in the box said to boil them anyway. So I figure I can kill any possible bacteria. The design seems to be sturdy enough when it’s popped into “bottle” position. I think these will be great for travel, which was my purpose. They do appear to be durable.

Love the bottle--its color, how easy it folds and unfolds, lack of odor/taste, wide mouth, straw, that it is sturdy/stands up on own even when empty, doesn't leak, etc. The only issue is that I couldn't use it with my travel purse, since it did not fit in the bottle holder pocket on the side. I ended up having to refill a small store water bottle that did not collapse. I do need to add that my friend bought a different style collapsible water bottle (not sure from where) that would not stand up on own even when full of water. Hers was totally unusable, while mine is perfectly good! I just need to figure out a different way to carry it around, which will be easy enough since I only use the travel purse internationally. P.S. I used my bottle as a vase to hold a couple of roses that my travel companion and I were given by fellow travelers, so even though it didn't fit in my purse, it came in handy. :-)

Exactly as described. Worked well for freezing during a hot day. Definitely a strong silicone smell that they claim will reduce over time so will edit if experience changes.

Portable, easy to fold water bottles. Perfect for theme parks! Lightweight & did not leak!

Bought these for a trip to Europe for me and my daughters. Went this June 2025 during heat wave and first stop Rome - hot and humid, so having the bottles to fill at the many public drinking fountains in Rome was a lift saver. Initial silicon smell easily removed with soap, warm water and 1/8 teaspoon bleach for a few hours. We did mix Liquid IV, Emergen-C. If you washed out and soak with a little soapy water, smells disappear. Good quality lids (one small to drink from with screw cap, and larger one for filling. We were gone 18 days and used them about every day, including on the plane. Durability good. My wife and I have since used them on a hiking trip. Collapse very easily. Only con is that they are square, so they don't fit in a round hole water bottle sleeve like on a back pack. I don't know the long term quality. The folds may eventually split open, but I'm not grading on that - just an observation. I'm storing my un-collapsed, so fold don't split with spring tension of being folded.
