Very pleasantly surprised
Given the price, I wasn't expecting much from this rod rack, but I was pleasantly surprised. The rack assembled easily, (less than 10 minutes), held several light- to medium-weight rod/reel combos securely, and thus far seems stable despite the weight of the equipment. I have owned several rod racks over the years, and although all were considerably more expensive than the KastKing V16, from a functionality standpoint, there is virtually no difference. (If anything, the KastKing V16 is superior to the other rod racks I have owned because it has a smaller footprint.) Overall, a good product at a great price that should provide years of service.Pros:Excellent price pointHolds several rod/reel combosFunctional design, (the top tray for other equipment is nice, though the fishing line spool holder seems unnecessary)Well built/sturdy, particularly given its plastic compositionSmall footprintAssembles easily (see "cons" for additional information)Cons:Threaded nut that secures the base to the bottom tray did not go on or tighten easilyFoam inserts seem looser than comparable foam retention "clips" on other vertical rod holdersSuggestion:Great design overall, but adding a ball-bearing ring on the underside of the bottom tray would enable the product to be easily rotated in place. For some people, the inability to turn the rod holder is not an issue. But given the space-saving design, particularly for users storing multiple rod/reel combos, it makes sense to have such a feature.

Clever design holds 16 rods and - BONUS - it's super easy to carry or move. Highly recommend.
This is BY FAR the best vertical rod storage rack I've ever owned. The double-tier design holds up to TWICE as many rods as some other models of the same size (16 max). My favorite feature though has to be the carry handle in the center, which is easy to reach even when the rack is fully loaded. The rack is sturdy and well-balanced but still very light weight (unlike some wood models I own) and the handle makes it super easy to carry across the basement or garage - just a super clever feature. The rotating base is spins smoothly and it has some extra compartments for pliers, spools and other misc gear. Really highly recommend yet another superior item from KastKing.

Well-designed & constructed; conveniently holds a ton of gear in a small space.
The media could not be loaded. Well-designed & constructed; conveniently holds & organizes a ton of gear in a very small space, making it easy to "Grab & go". I own a lot of equipment for bank & kayak fishing & have it stored all over: on ceilings, garage, & closets, but I wanted something readily at hand so I could quickly "Scoot & shoot" and be out on the local ponds in seconds when the spirit moved me; this fit the bill.Assembly a little dicey as the tolerances are tight, but a little dish soap helped solve that. Otherwise everything functions as advertised.Impressed with this enough upon assembly to get another as a gift for my son for his new townhouse; this is perfect to hold most of his gear without marking up his walls or ceiling.

Good with flaws
The rod rack is pretty solid for the money. It has enough space to hold rod all kinds of rods except one surf rod that is too thick for the clamp. Installation was easy and has very little room to go wrong. However, the rotation base does not work very well. Although it does work, the rotation is not very smooth. And because the rods are held together tightly, it feels a bit flimsy when rotating when heavily loaded. The bottom of the base does not sit flat on the floor and it wiggles a little, which make it even more unstable especially if you have a heavier rod on one side.Overall it is a good looking product that works as described. The flaws are not too bad for the price you pay.

Great rod holder
Purchase this rod holder to replace my current one. This one is made of sturdy plastic and will hold my rods a lot better than my current one. I like how the bottom rod holder will hold my rods better are they have a bigger indentation. At the top where you clip it in is made from foam to protect the rods. I like how this one has a smaller foot print and holds more rods, spins, and as a bonus has a spot to put my tools on.

Not worth the money mediocre at best quality weak foam holding the rods.
Pretty much a waiste of money if you put anything but bare rods on this thing. I have 7 rods on it. Mostly light trolling gear for trout and walleye and it can't even handle them. It leans all over the place and if you even look at it wrong rods are falling out of it. The rods I have in it are lamiglass 10' kokanee trolling rods and and 10'6" medium heavy action rods I use for trolling as well 20 and 30 series reels and this thing is super flimsy the foam fingers to hold the rods don't even hold them are not stiff enough to keep the rods in and rods fall out very easily. pretty big waste of money.

Value!
This rod rack is by far better than any similar (in design) offerings available. Easy to assemble, good design ( with the staggered heights to allow a more compact footprint ) and so far, the durability. There have been negative remarks on the "loose" rod capturing clips but this is an actual plus. They hold the rod well but allow for easy retrieving/ putting the rod back without putting stress on the rack itself. On wooden racks of similar design, the stiff clips that retain the rod actually are a negative due to the stress from the effort required to remove or replace the rod, eventually making the retaining bolts loose and the rack wobbly.
