Perfect Speaker for Events and Everyday Fun!
The Soundcore Boom 2 exceeded all my expectations! The sound quality is fantastic, and it gets loud enough to hear from far away, which made it perfect for my small wedding. The battery lasts for a long time, so we never had to worry about it dying mid-event. I also loved how super easy the Bluetooth connectivity was—it paired instantly and never disconnected the entire day. The size was perfect to hide under the table, and it was light enough to move wherever we went without hassle. For the price, it’s truly a great value purchase. We still use it all the time—whether for parties or fun little dance parties with my kids at home, it always delivers. Highly recommend the Boom 2 for anyone needing reliable, powerful sound!

Amazing value and sound
You need to use some EQ to boost the mids, because the speakers are not tuned, but holy cow once you do! This thing is a banger, and with the mids EQ'd up you get a good enough listening experience too. We used this for a moving party and it was more than loud enough to fill 3 bedrooms and a living room and kitchen by itself. Neighbors actually complained about the banging bass lol. Amazing piece of equipment. 6 Stars are needed. I wish I could buy a crate of these, so I'll always have one.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loud, clear, and great for outdoor use
I purchased the Soundcore Boom 2 by Anker for outdoor activities, and it’s been an excellent speaker so far. The sound is loud and clear, with strong bass that doesn’t overpower the mids and highs. It performs really well outdoors, whether at the beach, backyard, or park. The build feels solid and durable, and it’s easy to carry around. I also like that it’s water-resistant, which makes it less stressful to use outside. Battery life has been very reliable. I’ve used it for several hours at a time, and it still had plenty of charge left. Pairing with my phone was quick and stable. Overall, this speaker offers great sound quality, strong volume, and durability in one package. If you’re looking for a portable speaker for outdoor use, this one is definitely worth it. I would buy it again.

easy to configure - great sound
Great speakers. Bought 3 of them for an indoor/outdoor xmas party. They paired easily so that all three played the same music. They fill the room and backyard with more than enough sound to annoy your neighbors. And they are a third of the price of Sonos speakers.

Very Nice Speaker for the Price
Very nice speaker for the price! It puts out some serious sound and its not muffled at all. Both ends light up and it can be set to different colors or to the beat of the music. Very easy to set up and connect to the phone. Nice size speaker and it can easily sit on a shelf or table and not take up a lot of room. The only draw back that I can say about this speaker is the cord that they provide isn't very long so you would be limited in the reach. The nice thing is the cord that goes to this a C cable it's easy enough to find and with cell phones using that same cord you can always just switch it out if you need too. Quality is excellent and haven't used it long enough to give any review on the battery life but from other reviews it seems that it does last a long time. Easy to connect and set up you wont be disappointed in this purchase.

Excellent for the price, but not perfect
I've used the Soundcore Boom 2 for several months, testing it in a variety of settings both indoor and outdoor. Overall I've been very happy with it, and I think it's one of the best portable speakers you can get at this price point. However, there is one major flaw that keeps it from being perfect. First, the good stuff: - Sound quality is excellent, featuring both a lot of bass and crisp highs, as well as plenty of volume when needed. I listen to a lot of bass-heavy electronic music, and this speaker absolutely delivers. - Battery life is also great, with one charge lasting for hours and hours even at higher volumes and Bass Up turned on. Even after months of use, the battery has held up and charging is rarely a concern. And since it uses USB C, it's easy to charge off of battery banks when I take it camping. - Build quality is fantastic, with a fairly rugged plastic shell and an IPX7 rating that allows it to go almost anywhere. I've used it for camping, and also as a shower speaker without any issue. I wouldn't submerse it in water (although I think it would survive) but it holds up in wet environments. - Range is great, and it's never been a problem using it outdoors for parties while carrying my phone around. I don't know the exact number, but it seems to work fine within 40-50 feet. - App works well, with EQ and lighting options. It's not really necessary, but nice to have and I've never had any issues using the app. - Connecting to other Soundcore Boom 2s is pretty easy and works well. I've only paired 2 together so far, but it's a nice feature to have when you want to fill an outdoor area with sound. Now for the single negative I've found: The Boom 2 does not have AUX IN. Sound can only be sent to it over Bluetooth, which is a huge drawback for some specific uses. I produce music and DJ, and it's basically worthless for this because Bluetooth adds a ton of latency. I have a very cheap Soundcore speaker with 3.5mm AUX IN, so the absence here is honestly surprising. It also means that some devices simply won't work with the Boom 2 if they only support 3.5mm (although this can be fixed with a separate BT transmitter, which I've tested with it). If it allowed 3.5mm AUX IN, this speaker would be perfect. But, overall, I think this is one of the best portable speakers at this price point. If you just want to play music for yourself or a group of people, you'll be very happy with this. It has limitations, but it really excels at playing music for parties, camping, going to the beach etc. If that's what you need it for, then you should absolutely get it. If you want to use it for a portable DJ setup or devices without Bluetooth, the lack of AUX input is a huge miss. It really depends on what you're going to use it for, it's just disappointing that it can't do everything.

Super impressive!!!
Absolutely amazing 👏 I had a little Anker soundcore 2 and it was great, been working for years, great battery. But I wanted something louder and I figured if I lived that product so much why not buy from the same brand? The other one was good quality and long lasting, even took it in the pool with me a few times. This Soundcore Boom 2 the loudest and heaviest bass booming speaker I've ever owned!! Very impressive! I hope it is as durable as the other speaker that I've had for years. By far my favorite purchase this year.

I honestly love this speaker — the sound quality is incredible for its size. The bass is deep and punchy thanks to the BassUp 2 feature, and you can really feel the subwoofer kick in. It easily fills a room or even works great outdoors without losing clarity. The build quality feels solid and premium, and the battery life is impressive — lasts for hours of continuous play. The Bluetooth connection is strong and stable, and pairing is super quick. It’s perfect for parties, outdoor trips, or just chilling at home. If you enjoy loud, clear music with great bass, this one’s a must-buy. Totally worth it! 🔥🎶
