Lightweight (13 ounces)
Outside the main pocket, it has just the two side mesh pockets, good for water bottles if the pack isn't too full. The top of each of those is not as elastic as on most backpacks, so if the pack is full, the side pockets can't open enough to fit a water bottle. Inside the main pocket, there is a nice zipped inner pouch (about 8.5 in by 7.5 in by thin). On the opposite side is an open top pouch, which I think is useless. Things never stay in those. It was just $13.99 when I bought, which helped justify 5-star. The strap size and position makes it too small to adjust for me (I'm 240Lbs and 5 ft 9). But we bought it for my wife and it seems to fit her. It seems OK; she hasn't really used it yet. I don't know how much competing products lie about capacity. The 35L claim is way off. I arranged five boxes 9x4.75x4.25 plus two 9x4.75x2. That firmly filled it all around at 17.7L. Less rectangular contents that perfectly reshape the bag to the max volume probably only would add 10%. Computed another way: the circumference at the widest point is under 35 inch while the height is under 20. A cylinder 35 in circumference and 20 high would be under 32L. That ignores the fact that most of the height has significantly under 35 in circumference. The adjustable chest strap (height as well as width) is a nice feature. The two plastic D rings (where one might hang a small front pack for best balance of the load on a long hike) are a nice detail, as are the connection points on the back for carrying things outside the pack.

I love it
I recently purchased this backpack and have been using it daily for a few weeks now. I’m genuinely impressed by its quality and functionality. The material feels durable and water-resistant, perfect for both school and outdoor activities. It has plenty of compartments, including a padded laptop sleeve that fits my 15-inch laptop perfectly. The zippers are smooth, and the stitching is strong. I also appreciate the ergonomic design — the padded shoulder straps and breathable back panel make it very comfortable to carry, even when it’s full.

Hard to fold into pouch.
Backpack is good sewn quality for such a lightweight pack. It is small enough for water, personal items, change of clothes or towel for beach or pool or day trip. The pictures show how to fold and put into self contained pouch. Danged if could figure it out from the incomplete picture steps. Maybe a pack down video would be better than just a sales video of pack features. I like it and now wife wants one.

Excellent small backpack!
I love this backpack! It’s the perfect size for a day out hiking or any other multi-hour outing. It can hold water, snacks, a swimsuit or change of clothes, etc without being too bulky. I like the adjustable straps on the side so you can compress or enlarge it. I’ve used it for 6 months & it’s held up well so far. The ONLY thing I would change is that I wish the outside mesh pockets were taller.

Well made
Still a great backpack. Fits well into a suitcase, lots of room adjustable buckles so you can make it feel smaller, just the right amount to pockets. It just works really well!

Needs a few more pockets on the front and back
It's a cute backpack and definitely easy to carry. I was just a bit disappointed on the lack of pockets on the front and back. There are small side pockets for a drink, glasses, etc. and then a small pocket on the inside top to put a wallet, brush, keys, etc. Just wish the pockets were designed with a bit more storage in mind.

Lightweight and versatile
This backpack is lightweight, and the adjustable straps and buckles allow the backpack to fit my body comfortably. The inside zippered pocket is the perfect size for carrying valuables. The reflective straps, water-resistant material, and emergency whistle are great for outdoor recreation. As a hiker/walker, I plan to pack fluids in the outer mesh pockets and snacks in the inside pockets for short trips. Once the items are consumed, the backpack can be folded up. Another use is to carry a change of clothes for long-distance walking. When traveling by air, I plan to pack the folded backpack in my luggage and then expand it for carry-on use when returning home. The lightweight and versatility of this product make it worthy of a five-star rating.

Good quality with many features. Large capacity which can fold down and be used as main or spare. Really good price too.

I was stuck at a hospital for a few weeks with my son and going back-and-forth to the grocery store and carrying the bags and your hands got really cumbersome and heavy. This backpack worked great. It was just what I needed. It was cheap, it was easy to pick up at a locker in the city and just so much easier to carry everything it needed to carry. And I liked that it had a cross strap across your chest, to help brace out the weight

Pack is plenty large enough, however, no outside compartments with zipper closures, only only zipper pocket inside the pack and some odd little lace holders on the face of the pack but not lace so they look rather silly. For the price, $20 it will do what we need it to do which is be an emergency to go bag. It would have been much more useful if there were a couple of separate pockets on the outside of the pack to be able segregate toiletries and other essentials.
