A well-made pop up cafe to give the kids a challenge to using their creative skills. Easy to set up with clear instructions although some kids might need help or longer time in putting it together, especially tricky areas like the parasol that stands on the cafe table. All in all very simple and a good buy. Daughter loves it and serves her barbie dolls on there their daily menu on there...lol.

Completely not what I was expecting when I ordered this. however I was not disappointed. nothing like I've ever seen before from Barbie. my daughter absolutely love this. she is eight years old and she assembled this entire kit independently completely on her own. Given its practically cardboard it is very sturdy

This is such a great idea. You get all you need to build this vet surgery. There are really clear instructions which were easy to follow and very good quality items to use. My daughter is 6 and could do some of it on her own, but her brother (who absolutely loves constructing things and is 13) was able to help her. The end result? A lovely play set for them to be proud of and not my daughter to play with. It's so nice to see her playing with something she's helped to build. Very good idea.

Naming conventions aside (since when was 'animal doctor' the preferred term for a vet?) this is a creative construction cardboard playset that serves a useful purpose beyond the initial assembly. The instructions are clear enough for a child to follow (my five year old needed a bit of help but this set is labelled as 6+ and I think a slightly older child would manage independently). You essentially make a cardboard room and then pop out the cardboard accessories and apply the stickers. There's no doll or any other plastic included. The wrapping is actually very environmentally conscious, apart from a bit of tape to hold the box shut, the rest is fully recyclable paper/card/stickers. Like anything made from thick cardboard, it'll only last if it's looked after. Personally I would purchase this if I thought the child was likely to get as much (if not a bit more) from the construction aspect as the follow on role-play aspect. Unlike the plastic Barbie sets, this won't be infallible. The price is fair but if you're purchasing it for the end result you might be better off stumping up a bit more and getting a proper plastic playset.

This item arrived nicely packaged in a cardboard box. My niece is a big fan of barbie and has a lot of dolls, so I got this for her and she loves it. The boutique is in flat pack pieces which you have to put together, but that was easy to do. There are a lot of clothing pieces which you can organise in the built up boutique, and there are a lot of stickers too which you can use for decorate. Nice little set, and it's Barbie so what's not to like

Would be a lovely gift for a Barbie loving child but the removable stickers are all cut out incorrectly on the sheet so the stickers are cut in half and cut randomly making them totally unusable. Ruined a perfect good gift.

My granddaughter is barbie mad so this is absolutely perfect for her as she loves making things as well so she got a 2 in one
